Deku's Point of View

My plans after graduation were to look for an apartment to move into, before searching for hero agencies to get my degree to become a pro hero finally. I start folding my clothes and stacking them on my bed before placing them into a box labeled clothes. As I was taking out the last sweaters in my closet, in the back corner of the closet, I pull out the ugly Christmas sweater I made for Kachaan and me. I then sigh as I grab the sweat and fold it. The school allowed us to stay in the dorm rooms until we got a place to stay, but I wanted to get an apartment as soon as possible.

I take the posters off my walls, roll them up, and use a rubber band to keep it in place. I grab all my figurines and put them inside a bag so they wouldn't get damaged when I put them in another box labeled secret stash. I then went into the restroom to put all my toiletries into another small bag and then to put them in the same box as the figurines and posters are assigned.

After I had sealed the two main boxes, I searched in some of the drawers of my desk and my nightstand to see if I had missed anything. By doing so, I come across the necklace Bakugougaev me back in Valentimes day. I sigh as I close the little black box it was in to place it on top of the nightstand then. I then come across a picture frame of us, laughing at the beach. I grab ahold of it and smile at it. Back in the good old days, when I found out that I was in love with my childhood friend.

I place it on top of my nightstand, with the necklace, to then find another item that made my heart drop. It was all the little papers with little riddles from the small scavenger hunt Bakugou made me for Valentine's day. Why did you have to cheat on me with Kirishima? Everything was so great until that stupid proposition I made about having a break. I'm such an idiot! It's my fault our relationship ended! Not his!

I groan at my thoughts as I slam the papers onto my desk and fall on my bed, staring at the ceiling with both of my arms on my chest. Even though it's been three years since I last kissed him, I still miss his delicate touch. Bakugou was my everything. He gave me space when I needed, which resulted in our demise. He gave me love. He gave me hope, even if he was a real pain in the ass. I was the one who could retain him from starting any fights, and that made me so happy. It made me glad to be the one who could contain him while nobody else could.

I was going to close my eyes when I hear a knock at my door. I push myself upwards to get out of the bed and walk to the door. I twisted the knob and opened the door, revealing Ochaco. I smile and let her into my room. Ochaco carried Ayako with her as she made her way to the bed.

"Uncle Izuku!" Ayako says in a high pitch. I smile and grab ahold of her. I swing her side to side before sitting on the bed, next to Ochaco.

"You are so cute!" I say to Ayako as I tickle her stomach. She begins to laugh, making Ochaco share a sweet smile towards me.

"I'm glad she has an uncle like you, Midoriya,"

"I'm not her uncle, but she can call me whatever she wants to," I say to Ayako with a sweet smile. She smiles back at me before I look back at Ochaco.

"So, I'm guessing you found an apartment?" Ochaco asks me as I hand Ayako to her.

"No. I just want to pack and put everything in my car so that when I go hunting for apartments, I have everything ready," I say as I look down at Ayako then look up to Ochaco with a smile.

"I see. Well, Iida and I have decided to move in together to take care of Ayako," Ochaco says with a smile as she cradles her sleeping daughter.

"That makes sense, but how are you two going to deal with villains if they come and attack the city?" I ask Ochaco in a low voice, not to wake up Ayako from her deep sleep.

"Well, I'll just call my parents, and they can take care of her when we're both on patrol," Ochaco says with sadness. I could see it in her eyes; she just wants to be with her child and protect her as much as she can. I sigh and place my hand on her shoulder.

"You're going to be a great mother," I say with a smile as I kiss her on the cheek. She smiles back before we both stare at sleeping Ayako.

"Well, I'll be on my way so that I won't delay you any longer," Ochaco says with a broad smile before getting up from the bed slowly to walk over to the door. I smile and help her out.

"Alright. I hope shortly we can hang out or something,"

"Oh, I'll keep your word for it," She says before leaving. I smile and get back to packing.

   Time-Lapse

I packed all of my belongings into the back of my car before heading out to go scouting apartments. I walked back into the building to head to my room to see if I forgot anything when I find Bakugou sitting on my bed. I knock on the door that was opened, making him look up at me.

"Can I come in?" I say with a chuckle at the end. Bakugou chuckles before getting up. In his hand, I saw the picture frame I left behind and the little black box with the necklace inside.

"It was fun making you look around the house for these notes," Bakugou starts as he picks the pieces of paper on the nightstand. I smile at the memory as I make my way towards him.

"Yeah, that was fun," I say as I look over his shoulder. Bakugou turns around and meets my gaze. We stay silent for a moment, looking into each other's eyes. I could see the want in his eyes because that's the exact expression I was sharing. Bakugou clears his throat before looking away.

"I see your fully packed," Bakugou says as I back away from looking over his shoulder, on my tiptoes. I back up a bit, feeling all flustered. Do I still like him?

"Y-Yeah, pretty much," I say to Bakugou as I reach over to grab the picture frame and black box from his heads, before heading out, when I feel his touch. I blush bright pink as I remember the feeling of his touch.

"How about we move in together? A-As friends," Bakugou suggests. I throw my head back in shock from his question, following up a smile.

"You know what, fuck it. Sure!" I say with a broad smile. Bakugou widens his eyes to my statement to slowly turn his confused look into a radiant look.

"I'm on my way to look for apartments, come with me!" I say as I gesture him to follow me to my car. Bakugou agrees and follows behind me. I know what I'm doing is wrong because Bakugou cheated on me, but we've agreed to stay friends for now. If in the future, he proves to me that he's worthy of my time, then we can date again.

We walk to my black wrangler jeep and drive to where I saw some people selling their apartments near Tokyo. We are free to live where ever we want and to start our hero life. It was thrilling and exciting. I look over my shoulder and see Bakugou looking out at the window in peace. I smile before stepping on the accelerator when the light turned green.
