Still Bakugou's Point of View

It was the next day, Monday morning, and Deku was in his room getting ready while I waited outside his door. He knew I was there because I was the one who woke him up to get to class earlier than usual so he can talk with our homeroom teacher. The door opens to reveal Deku in his uniform, but as I tell him, I noticed something different. I grit my teeth as I see his tie wasn't small. It was normal-sized, which made him look different. I pull him by his collar closer to me and try to recreate the tie he used at the beginning of the school. He just looked at my hands, messing his tie.

"Bakugou, what are you doing?—"

"Kachaan," I say as I still try to fix his tie. He raises an eyebrow at me as I tightened his knot. I smirk after seeing my masterpiece.

"Kachaan?" He asks me. He closes the door behind him and walks by my side on our way to the school building.

"That's the nickname you gave me back in the day," I say without looking at him. He acknowledged it with a smile.

"Oh, I see," He says with an eye to eye smile. I avert my eyes from him to continue staring at what's in front of me.

The rest of the way to the classroom, we walked in silence. It felt awkward not being to hug side him or lock hands with him while he is still recovering from the accident. Why does this keep happening to him? So many things have happened in the last three months that make me question how I ended up with a nerd like him in the first place. It seems like everywhere he goes, someone wants to hurt him or flirt with him. It makes me jealous sometimes, not going to lie.

I broke my train of thought to open the classroom door. Deku passed underneath my arm, making me feel his hair touch against my arm. I sigh with annoyance before walking towards my seat. I point at his place, and he looks at me with a puzzled face to see he sits in front of me. I don't respond and simply sit down in my chair.

"K-Kachaan, I've meant to ask you this..." Deku commences, grabbing my attention.

"Why do you call me Deku?" He asks me with a concerned face. I sigh and lean forwards on my desk, looking at him.

"It's the nickname I gave you when we were kids, and it's your hero name," I say to him, causing him to gasp. I chuckle at him before the Caterpillar walked into the room a few minutes earlier than the rest of the class.

"Good Morning, you two," The caterpillar said to us. I grunt and nod my head before getting up and pulling Deku to the teacher. Aizawa looked at me with a tired face before looking at Midoriya.

"Deku got into an accident and has forgotten parts of his memories," I say to the teacher before walking back to my desk to take a seat. The teacher and Deku started talking about whatever while I zoomed out by looking out the window.

After a long talk between the two, the classroom started to fill. Kirishima was the one to knock me out of my thoughts with a massive hit on the back. I glance at him to stop whatever he was doing because if he didn't, I would kill him. He got the hint and headed over to his seat. Eventually, Deku also came back to his seat.

"All right, class. As you may know, in two weeks it's your spring break—"

"Hell yeah!" The class yelled in unison.

"SILENCE!" the teacher yells, causing the extras to shut their traps.

"Like I was saying, in that period, the pro heroes have decided to train the ones who want to improve. This is your only chance, so I suggest you take it," The caterpillar says before clearing his throat.

"Now that that's out of the way, you may come in Yamada," He says as he gets off the podium to let the other teacher in. Presiden Mic opens the door with a massive smile on his face. He yells at us with enthusiasm, making us have scared looks. I didn't care, so I didn't pay attention.

"Who's ready to get their English grammar on?!" He asked the class. No one answered, making president mic slap his hand.

"I'll leave you to it," Caterpillar says as he closes the door behind him. I hate English class.

   Time-Lapse

It was the end of the day and Deku and asked me to meet him after school. I didn't say no because he's my boyfriend whenever he needs me. I'll be there for him. Even if that sounds fucking cheesy, it's the truth! I make my way out fo the classroom when some tackles me. I growl as I look over my shoulder to see a round face smiling at me as she dangles from my back. I push her away before looking at her.

"What the hell do you want, round face?" I ask her, obviously pissed. Ochaco smiles at me before asking whatever the hell she wants to ask me.

"How are you holding up from Midoriya's memory loss?" Ochaco asks me with a worried look on her face. I sigh with agony as I press the part of my nose in between my eyebrows with two of my fingers.

"It's whatever—"

"Bakugou, I know you," Ochaco says with a sad look. I grunt at her before pulling my fingers away from my nose and down to the latch on my backpack.

"Fine. It's the fucking worst right now!" I spat at her. She smiles once I tell her how I was feeling.

"If you even need to talk, I'm all ear—"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever round face," I say before leaving her alone. Glass soon walks up to her to hold her hand as they make their way out fo the school. I forgot they were a thing.

I walk down the stairs of the school and walk in front of the gate to find Deku leaning against the railing. He looks up to see me with a smile. I share a crooked smile before standing in front of him. He grabs my wrist and pulls me to the dorms. Fucking moron, thinking he can just pull me by the wrist and not turn me on? Idiot...

"Show me pictures of us and memories about us," Deku says as he pulls me inside the building and heads to my dorm. I widen my eyes because I haven't taken him to my room ever since he got back from the hospital.

"I don't have much," I say as I unlock my room and enter with him still gripping onto my wrist. Deku lets go as soon as he sits on my bed and throws his book bag to the side. I do the same and sit next to him.

"Tell me about the time we confessed to each other," Deku said with a serious face. I sigh and start to tell him about the time we shared out the first kiss on a boat ride. The time we confessed how we felt about each other. The time we went on our first date: the time we did it together, and many more.

"W-We did all those things in just three months?!" He asked, surprised, and astonished. I smirk at him, telling him he was correct. He looked away from me to pull the key I gave him three months ago.

"You gave this to me, right?" He asked me as he showed me the key necklace. I nod as I reach to hold it. I didn't want to look at the key; I tried to touch his hand.

"Yeah. My first gift to you," I say with a chuckle. Deku smiles at me and puts the key back underneath his shirt.

"I really want to remember you, Bakugou—I mean K-Kachaan," He says with a pout and a sad face. I growl before pulling him into a hug. He didn't react until I spoke into his ear.

"Drop it for now. Live in the now and focus on the past later," I whisper into Deku's ear as I dig my chin into his shoulder. He hugs me back with tight arms wrapped around my back. I pull him away and place my hand on his cheek.

"You know, if you ever get your memories back, I'm going to kick your ass for making me say those pathetic words!" I say to him with an angry face, causing him to laugh with nervousness before punching me lightly on the shoulder.

"NOW GET YOUR ASS OUT OF MY ROOM BEFORE I SHOVE MY FIST UP YOU ASS!" I yell at him as I activate my quirk. He squeals before rushing out the door. I chuckle and turn off my quirk to kay on my back, staring at the ceiling.

That idiot forgot his backpack. Now I have a reason to see him.
