Hi guys! So if you don't know who Nolan North is, he's the voice actor for Desmond! He sounds exactly like Desmond, so I came up with an idea for a chapter.

"After about 30 years, I finally get to play the game!"
You practically squeaked out the sarcastic words, excitement seeping through your sentence as you gripped the case a little harder in your hands. You pulled the game close to your chest, a smile stitched onto your face as Nolan chuckled at your behavior. "You excited?" He asked, a smirk plastered on his face as he leaned against the wall. He crossed his arms over his chest, his eyebrows raising as he awaited your answer.
"If you must know, my dear Desmond, yes. Yes, I am." You called him by his character name, waltzing up to him with the game folded in your arms and still pressed close to your heart. Nolan scoffed at your nickname for him, rolling his eyes in mock annoyance. "You're lucky I got you a copy, the game hasn't even been released in stores yet." You smiled wide, the annoyance clearly visible on his face as you walked a bit closer, your crossed arms touching his. Nolan peered down at you with a lazy smirk on his face, silently loving the height difference between you both.
You stood up on your tippy toes, and he got the hint and leaned down to your height. He connected his lips with yours in a chaste kiss, his hands wrapping around your waist and erupting a blush across your body. "You better go, make me proud kiddo." He mumbled against your lips, softly pushing you away towards the bedroom where the console was. You whined loudly in protest, missing the feeling of his hands on your hips.
"Fine. But only because I love Desmond more than you." You said with a wink, before turning and bolting up the stairs before Nolan could say anything or make a complaint.
"Excuse me?!"
— TIME SKIP —
You played the game almost constantly, quickly making your way through the levels and killing all of Haytham and Connor's targets. Thomas Hickey gave you some trouble and slowed down your progress a bit, but you eventually got the sucker and continued on to Benjamin Church. Not long after that, you killed Haytham and moved on to finding Charles Lee. (A/N: WHERE IS CHARLES LEE) Those few missions took you a little longer than normal, desynching more times than you can count and throwing your controller in a fit of rage. Nolan heard the commotion from downstairs, and sighed deeply and nodded his head in understanding.
All through the game you had this feeling in the pit of your stomach, like something was horribly wrong. You didn't mention it to Nolan, figuring he would worry too much and try to send you to a doctor or something. But you worked through it and still played the game, wanting to get to the end and see how Desmond saves the world. Nolan told you the end was the best and worst part of the game, which put you on edge and made your heart race after you killed Charles Lee. Knowing that he was the final boss, you quickly paused the game and set the controller down on the bed beside you.
"Nolan! Come on, I just killed Charles!" You yelled to the man downstairs, your bedroom door was open so that you could yell at him when you were close to the end. Hearing the footsteps come up the stairs, Nolan peeped his head inside the room and spotted you on the bed in front of the T.V. "Man, you're almost done?" He breathed, a chuckle escaping his lips as he made his way into the room. He sat down beside you, the bed dipping underneath his weight as he laid an arm loosely around your hips. "Yep, the game was easier than I thought." You smiled, quickly thinking back to all those rageful times where you desynched. But Nolan didn't have to know that.
Nolan hummed in response before reaching up and quickly kissing your cheek, returning to his original position and waiting on you to start the game. You blushed, a smile creeping it's way onto your mouth as you hit the 'resume' button. After a few minutes, Desmond had found the key to the door in the Grand Temple, and you were at the point where he had to walk through the large doorway. You had waited for this for so long, the anticipation making your heart race as a cut scene was triggered. You saw Desmond step into a dimly lit room, a glowing pedestal the only thing in the space.
