S2C Chapter 37: Day Out

Hey! So, the follower-flood has finally halted. I am now at over 1,400 followers; thank you all!

Now, there's not much I really want to say... So... I'm going to call it now, Pearl and Marina became agents after Octo Expansion. Pearl became Agent 5 and Marina became Agent 6. The only proof I have is the number of letters in their names.

Marina POV

Marina was chuckling to herself after the looks that were on everyone's faces as she waved to them.

(Y/N): What's so funny?

Marina: Nothing!

She said still giggling slightly to herself.

Then she actually took in what she had done. She was now blushing while sitting next to him going through the ride.

She thought to herself how embarrassed she was at how she dragged him onto THIS ride with her.

They sat for a minute in silence. Both of them seemed nervous about something.

Suddenly, (Y/N) let out a breath of air, then spoke.

(Y/N): Listen, Marina...

Marina looked over at him.

(Y/N): I don't know if you... remember, but... Do you remember when we all went out to celebrate after the Splatfest?

Marina: I mean... I remember the beginning, but the rest is kind of a blur.

(Y/N): Well... Something happened... I don't know how many of the others know, but I know that Callie knows. I just wanted to tell you myself, but uh... At the party, you and I- uh- we...

(Y/N) seemed to be stumbling on his own words. Marina was confused at all of this due to how much he was stuttering, and she had NEVER seen him get this flustered before.

Marina: (Y/N).

(Y/N) stopped attempting speech and looked at her.

Marina: Breath.

He closed his eyes, took in a big breath, let it out, then opened his eyes back up, looking at Marina.

(Y/N): Promise you won't get mad?

Marina was about to speak but was cut off by (Y/N).

(Y/N): Because, to reiterate, I don't remember any of it, due to-

Marina: (Y/N)! I won't be mad.

(Y/N) took in one last shorter breath.

(Y/N): You and I were... making out. At the party.

Marina's eyes shot open as wide as they could go at hearing those words spoken. Her face was blushing as much as it could.

Marina: W-w-w-w-

(Y/N): Great... I broke you.

Marina shook her head.

Marina: No! It's just... I wasn't expecting that.

(Y/N): Do you hate me?

Marina looked at (Y/N) with confusion.

Marina: Hate you? Why would I hate you?

(Y/N): I don't know. We were drunk and I took advantage of you?

Marina: (Y/N). Please. You and Pearl were the first ones to start drinking. I was able to see how out of control you were.
