Racquel P.O.V
"No Kevin you don't understand. They're all ganging up on me saying I'm wrong. Then Jada keeps saying that Riley and I need to talk" I said venting to my boyfriend as we sat a lunch table alone. "Maybe you and Riley should talk it might all just be miscommunication" Kevin said trying to be reasonable about the current issue. "No trust me this isn't miscommunication, the truth is just finding a way to the light" I said scoffing as I took a glance at Riley then directed my attention back to Kevin. "Babe don't let it stress you out, you guys might just need some time away from each other" Kevin said rubbing my hand in a soothing way.
"Thank you baby" I said giving him a small kiss on the lips before laying my head on his shoulder and opening the bag of chips I got from the vending machine. "Nah I'm not sitting over there today" Riley said to one of her friends as she walked pass our usual table causing me to scrunch up my face.
"Don't say nothing, y'all don't need to be arguing at school" Kevin said hugging me tighter and whispering in my ear before I could react to what Riley had said. "Nobody want you to sit over here" I said loudly making sure Riley heard me. I didn't know why but I just felt the need to be petty with her.
"Racquel I'm not about to argue with you at school" Riley said lowly looking me dead in my eye. "Bitch I'm not telling you to argue with me at school" I said causing a few people at neighboring tables to turn around and look at us. "You a fucking goofy I swear to god" Riley said chuckling a little before walking off with her friend.
I was about to get up and chase after her because I didn't know who she was talking. "Rocky sit down" Kevin said sternly and pulling me back down into the seat next to him. "No I'm so sick of her and her smart ass mouth" I said frowning my face up while I looked in the direction Riley had just headed. "It's not that serious y'all don't need to be getting into in school and having all these nosey ass people in y'all business" Kevin said trying to talk some sense into me I guess.
Jada P.O.V
I sat in my seventh period class looking at the board and thinking about these past months of my life. Before I could go deep in thought I heard someone calling my name. "Jay you good?" Heaven asked bringing me back to reality. "Yeah I'm good I was just thinking about some stuff" I said reassuring her with a small smile. "Girl you were just in yo own little world" Alicia said letting a small chuckle leave her mouth as she wrote the notes the teacher left us on the board. "Yeah I know my bad y'all" I said as I started back writing my notes. "Bro we never do anything no more, we need to go out y'all" Heaven said turning around in her seat to look at all of us.
"Onna real we be boring as fuck y'all" Gabby said nodding her head in agreement. "Today is Friday y'all tryna hit up a party or something?" Alicia asked while she scrolled through Instagram on her phone. "Hell yes" they all said in unison before they looked at me.
"Come on Jay you gotta come" Gabby said trying to persuade me to go out with them. Going out sounded fun and it was well needed but I just didn't know if I wanted to go. "Jada don't be a stick in the mud come toot some ass with us!" Heaven said with her tongue stuck out and dancing in her chair playfully causing us all to laugh.
"Fuck it let's do it shorties!" I said out loud but not loud enough to disrupt the class. "Ouu guys we gotta go to the mall right after school to get something cute to wear" Alicia squealed with a big smile on her face. "Bet it up who gone take us though" Gabby said which made everyone look at me. "So I'm assuming these looks mean you want me to ask Charles to take us" I said finally looking up from my phone after feeling eyes on me.
