"JEON JEONGGUK!"Oh shi-
RUN RUN RUN BISH WE GONNA DIE!
And so run Jeongguk does.
Now you may be wondering . . . what is he exactly running from?
To answer your question, Jeongguk had recently decided that it'd be a "good idea" to pour salt in his best friend Jimin's Doctor Pepper while he was turned away talking to some one other than himself. He was wrong. It was definitely not a good idea.
About five minutes had passed and Jeongguk was still being chased down his school hallways. He turned quickly to make a right and almost immediately after, felt a hand grab his wrist and pull him aside, startling the raven haired boy as he was thrown into a dark room.
"What the-" Jeongguk started but was cut off by a "Shh".
And thankfully so, as two seconds later Jimin could be seen through the tiny window on the door running past, not breaking his current speed.
As soon as he was out of sight, Jeongguk sunk against the door out of breath, and took in his surroundings.
He was in a dark, empty classroom, unoccupied of students. He turned his head and looked directly in front of him only to be met with the gaze of the one and only Kim Taehyung.
Taehyung had a reputation at school, being one of the most popular yet geekiest students of all and definitely the most handsome. And he also happened to be Jeongguk's best friend, even more so than Jimin.
"Tae? What are you doing here?" Jeongguk asked, still panting slightly.Taehyung shrugged his shoulders slightly, "Just wanted an escape," he spoke softly, "Wasn't in the mood to be crowded by a bunch of girls."
Jeongguk stood up and made his way over to the slightly taller male and sat next to him on top of the desks, toes lightly brushing against the floor.
Tae wasn't like most popular people. He didn't love the attention, the compliments, or the hoards of screaming girls, he simply just liked to be alone at times.
"What's wrong?" Jeongguk asked, gaze locked on his swinging feet.
"I just- do you ever get a feeling, that you're making a wrong decision, and you're thinking the wrong things, yet some how it feels right . . . ? That doesn't make sense. Never mind." Tae answered glumly.
But to the older's surprise, it did make sense. For a long while now Jeongguk has had those same thoughts and feelings, thinking that they were wrong, and just awful. So, so, awful. But recently, he's come to terms with it. So what if he has a crush on a dude? So what if it's his best friend? So what if it's the school's beloved Kim Taehyung? It didn't matter, because those feelings would never be reciprocated. Never in a million years Jeongguk thought.
"No, I understand. I feel the same way sometimes." Jeongguk replies understandingly, finally looking up at the male. "But you just have to look at those thoughts and feelings from another perspective. Maybe they're not so wrong. Maybe it's just society telling you to think a certain way about yourself. Your thoughts are your thoughts. Don't be ashamed of them just because others tell you to."
At this Taehyung shed a tear and placed his hand on top of Jeongguk's. "Thank you," he choked out, "that really means a lot. And I know I shouldn't be ashamed of myself, but it's hard sometimes," he looked down at his feet and retracted his hand, twisting them both in his lap. "We're raised in to being perfect replications of our parents, with the perfect job, the perfect life and . . ." he paused and took a deep breath, "and the perfect wife."
