|Plot|
The Shirbert drama is amazing. You've perfectly captured the tension between them. I really like how the conflict in their relationship doesn't solely rely on Anne being stubborn and we also get to see Gilbert upset, much like in s1ep6. Its very well paced and interesting. My favorite thing however is how you've tied in the Shirbert drama with an exciting and creative adventure storyline. Very well done. Excellently paced as well. There is a wonderful balance between adventure conflict and character conflict.

|Characters|
Everyone is SO in character. You've captured them wonderfully. The way you've handled Shirbert's relationship is wonderful. It's clever and interesting and in character even without reverting to season 1 Shirbert's bickering. Anne's confusion towards Gilbert is very believable. Gilbert, Diana and Ruby are also very in character. Staying in character is SO important when it comes to fanfic and you've nailed it.

|Originality|
Most fanfics tend to be extremely character driven as coming up with a solid plot can be very time consuming. But instead of just relying on little moments and drama, you've put the characters in a situation where they have to confront the drama at hand. The premise is unique and so enjoyable.

|Writing|
Your writing in very good. The one thing I would warn against is to be careful not to use modern language. In the very first scene Diana says "same" and that sounds very modern to me. So just watch out for that.

|Overall|
This story is one of my favorite awae fanfics now. It's so well written, in character and interesting. It's also so underrated and deserves more attention. I will tag the author below. Do yourself a favor and check this story out.
