Jasmine

"Jasmine Hunny are you ok? You seem a lilttle daydreamy today." Betty said placing a hand on her shoulder.

"oh yeah it's nothing. Its just I want to go for a fun but I have been told not to."

"oh, why?" Betty asked concerned.

"well, James said I'm running a lot lately and looking a little thin so he wants me to stay in a little while."

"oh. Well since he doesn't want you doing too much exercise at the moment how about you help an old woman out and run this material over to Gwen's house for me, its not too far." Betty said with a knowing smirk.

Jasmine couldn't contain her happiness at finding a good reason to go out, the truth is she had noticed the weight loss herself but was just having so much fun running around and it's not like she was not eating, she was eating all the time. Even right now she was munching through an apple.

"sure!" she practically shouted while finishing the last of her apple dumping the core in the bin and pulling her shoes on.

She collected the material and slipped a bow and arrows on to her shoulder with the other arm. James had given them to her and she was under strict instructions that she must take them everywhere with her when she was on her own despite the fact that Tom had assured him she was a better fighter then pretty much every wolf in the pack.

Jasmine did not mind she loved practising in the forest anyway.

Bouncing out of the house with everything Betty had gathered for her she headed over to Gwen's house. Knocking on the door she was practically bouncing with happiness the town just looed so beautiful and rich in nature.

"Hello?" a perfume voice said as the door swung open.

"hi Aunty Gwen" I greeted in my most excited voice.

"oh Jazz its you why didn't you just walk in dear? Come on come on in. Wow honey, all that running your doing your clothes are hanging off you, my goodness girl you really did get Forrest fever didn't you, though make sure you eat more your wasting away."

"i just brought some fabric over from Betty." I giggled. I truly love the way Aunty Gwen welcomes people like they have always been there and she is always a ray of sunshine when it is needed.

"oh sorry I didn't even ask why you were here. Thank you." Gwen said with a genuine smile.

"now on your way home can you please tell tom that next time he ruins his jeans he can fix his own patches or in charging him double. Oh and hurry back before people start missing you, I heard you were quite the Phenomena in town after what tom said from your lessons. I'm sure James will already be looking for you, you know how he is for worrying." i smiled my warm and happy smile before signing and nodding.

"sure Aunty Gwen I will see you around."

"of course love now hurry along."

I smiled and set off for the training grounds I passed toms message along and then ran home the quickest way I could.

"Oh thank god there you are! I told you to stay home! I was worried! Where did you even go?"

"i took material to Aunty Gwen for your mum." I yell back at him. His eyes soften almost immediately

"sorry for shouting." he says regretfully what was up with him recently? He seemed off about something.

"James whats up your acting real funny."

"I'm sorry, it's just, I saw you with tom the other day and you seem t get on very well. He has a reputation for drawing women in without them realising and then they are infatuated." I couldn't help it I burst into laughter so hard my stomach hurt.

"trust me I am not getting infatuated he is like a brother to me and I'm comfortable around him silly, besides why would i need someone else when you're my soul mate."

James smiled but it didn't reach his eyes and his entire body stiffened at the last two words I didn't even realise had slipped through my lip until my laugh sobered like I hit a tree.

"sorry if that was wrong, I didn't mean to say it." I say defencively

"no, no I just... I was not expecting that, you called me your soulmate does that mean you want to be my wolf?"

the truth is I had been thinking about it a lot lately and it was something always on my mind, I was practically living as though I was a wolf now but I dont want anything between me and this beautiful place that quickly became my family and besides James might worry less once I was a wolf.

"yes, James if you're Willing," I say sweetly while looking at the floor but before I can do anything I feel his hot arms wrap tightly around me holding my close enough to feel every taught line of muscle on my amazing Alphas chest.
