Ahh, my head feels like crap. Where am I? In the forest? Oh, crap jazz! Rushing he moved to the sitting position holding her by the shoulders and giving her a couple of gentle shakes to try and wake her.

"J...jazz come on wake up."

"unnnrgghh"

"Jazz?"

"uh-hu" jazz mumbled while trying to open her tired eyes as disorientated as James was after last night.

"J..James? w..what happened? Why are we naked? And where are we? The last thing I remember is that we were... doing stuff and you, you turned into a wolf!" realisation bloomed on her face as she shuffled to get backwards, unfortunately, her body didn't like that and decided to fall unconscious in James' arms.

"J..Jazz I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you. I swear I will keep you safe now. I cant let my parents know what happened they will kill me!" pulling on what little scraps of clothes were left James thought about what to tell her parents. Taking her home making an excuse and going to see his parents to tell them he changed on his own last night, that seemed the smartest idea, god knows what they were thinking by now.

"mum dad are you home?" walking through his door it was eerily quiet until he heard his dad on the phone in the garden. Walking through the house and out the back door, he saw his mum and dad laying in the grass enjoying the unseasonal sun.

"Oh, hunny there you are!" Betty squealed as she ran towards James and threw her arms around him.

"steady mum I don't feel my best this morning" James chuckled while stumbling backwards at his mums powerful bear hug.

"oh there you are son, I can smell the forest on you from here, have you been rumbling in the leaves with one of those badgers again?"

"uhh, something like that dad," James said while rubbing his neck.

"I told you Lou he bedded a girl last night cant you smell the breeding trigger?"

James couldn't believe this his family were talking about him and now he can't hide what happened he hoped it wouldn't release the breeding trigger because she was human, maybe it didn't work like that, he doesn't know, all he knows s that it's really embarrassing when his family can tell he lost his virginity through his scent god it was bad being a wolf sometimes.

"Oh yes, to signify a young wolfs first mating, well son when will we meet her?"

James rumbled around in his mind choosing his words very carefully as he spoke.

"uhh soon I hope, she isn't from here so..."

"oh and a pack pairing too how wonderful, we need to tie some new blood into our town," Betty said as she eventually let go of her son and pattered back to her sunbathing spot.

"yeah so ughh if its ok could I go out of town to spend a few days with her?"

"Oh but of course son, every wolf wants to spend time with their mated, you go on and have fun, don't rush back, I'm just glad to see you got rid of hat human. How stupid you were thinking she was your mated,"
