If you're wondering why I use Monsieur and Mademoiselle, it's because I was overtired when I wrote the first part and I wanted to keep up the pattern. Also cause I take French class at school. Kay bye.

Inej sat on a hard, plastic chair long before the rest of the students filed into the classroom. The teacher wasn't even in the room! Inej had no idea why the door was open. It could be because she picked the lock, but who knows?

Inej dozed, or at least tried to. The chair was very uncomfortable. Finally, after at least 2 minutes, Inej took her Chromebook out of her bag (Chromebooks are these laptop type things that my school uses.), and logged in. Her background was a picture of Kaz. She had a crush on him. So what? Just because he was the emo kid who probably didn't have a soul didn't mean that Inej couldn't like him. They were friends, anyway. Or what is equivalent to friends in Kaz's mind.

Inej checked her email. There was a message from Nina.

From: Nina Zenik

To: Inej Ghafa

Subject: Plans this evening

Hello, Inej darling! Inej smiled at that. Nina was so sweet.

Are we still on for later? I bought waffles and everything! You can invite Kaz as well if you'd like wink wink. Nina knew Inej liked Kaz. If he even likes movies. I'm going to talk to Jesper and Wylan to see if they want to come.

Bye! See you in English! -Nina

Inej smiled. The two girls planned on doing a Star Wars marathon, especially since the next day was Saturday. She still haven't worked up the courage to ask Kaz to watch the movies with them, but she was definitely going to do it. Definitely.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. Inej sighed. She was never going to ask Kaz.

Just then, the teacher, Ms. K., walked in.

"Inej!" She said in surprise. "What-"

"The door was unlocked," Inej lied.

"I don't remember-" Just then, Nina and Wylan opened the classroom's door.

"Hello Ms. K.," Nina said brightly. Then, "Hello, Inej."

"Hello, Nina, Wylan," Inej responded. "You guys can sit at my table." Inej ignored the teacher's confused face and removed her backpack from the seat next to her so Wylan could sit down. Nina sat across, and placed her bag on the seat to her right.

"For Kaz," She whispered, then winked a few times.

Very inconspicuous, Inej thought sarcastically, but she couldn't stop a small smile spreading over her face.

Just then, Kaz and Jesper walked in. Jesper was saying, "--And that's why tacos are better than fajitas." Inej saw Kaz roll his eyes and stroll over to the empty seat Nina kept for him. Jesper grabbed an empty chair and dragged it over to the table.

"Hey kids," He said as he leaned against Wylan's desk.

"Put the chair back, Mr. Fahey," Ms. K. said. Inej could just make out Ms. K. saying under her breath, "Those damn kids. They're gonna be the death of me."

More students filed into the classroom. Among them, a big, blond kid Inej has never seen before. Wylan tapped Nina. "Nina. That's Matthias. The big blond one."

"Yes, Wylan. I know. I told you." Obviously, Inej was missing something.

Matthias sat behind a desk on the other side of the room. He took a book from his backpack and stuck his nose into it. Inej turned away from him.

Nina smiled and said, "Hey Jesper. You wanna come watch a few movies with me and Inej? You can bring your date, too." Nina looked meaningfully at Wylan, who blushed. Inej knew exactly what Nina was doing. She was asking the others so that Inej could work up the courage to ask Kaz.

Here goes nothing.

"You can come too, Kaz. If you want," Inej said quietly.

Kaz, who was doing something in his binder, looked up. "What was that, Wraith?"

"You can come watch the movies with us, Kaz," Inej said louder.

Inej wasn't expecting a response. She was expecting Kaz to open his binder again, shaking his head and muttering to himself. She was not expecting him to say yes.

"Yeah, I'll come, Inej."

I'm sorry this took me so long to write. I was... kind of blowing it off. I hope you like it, and if you have an idea about what I should do next, please comment!

Happy December by the way.
