Chapter 17

The Date

I woke up to the sound of birds outside my window.

stupid birds. I rolled over to check the time.

"Shit, it's 11:00." i growled.

I sat up and turned around with my legs hanging over the edge of the bed.

i slipped into a cute, flowerie dress with a brown belt hanging around the middle.

I wonder where Bradie was taking me as i walked into the bathroom to do my makeup.

Oh crap, he told be to bring my bathes.

I quickly put my bathes on underneath my dress and continued doing my make up and straightening my hair.

Not long after my phone rung. I bet it was Bradie probably making sure i'm awake.

"Hello?" I echoed into the phone.

"Hey! Well you're obvisiously awake. are you ready for me to come pick you up?" i smiled at the sound of Bradie's voice.

"Yeah sure, how did you sleep?" i asked

"Actully really well! and yourself?"

"Yeah good, I slept in a little bit and only woke up about half an hour ago!"

We hung up the phone saying i love you, goodbye and i'll see you soon to each other.

I walked down stairs and everyone else was awake.

"Good afternoon!" Uncle John joked.

"Morning" I replied

"How did you sleep?" "Yeah good thanks, and yourself?"

"not to bad."

There was a knock at the door.

"Oh, that will probably be for me."

"a date with Bradie ay?" Uncle John laughed.

"something like that!" I winked.

I opened the door and Bradie rushed in.

"Thank god you opened the door, next doors dog was running at me!" Bradie said

I couldn't help but laugh.

"so are you ready to go?" he asked.

"you kids have fun alright! and stay out of trouble." Uncle John interrupted.

we both walked out the door with a smile on our face.

Bradie's P.O.V

we got into my car.

Mia looked really nice today, i couldn't wait to show her where we were going.

"So anyway, where are you taking me?" She asked

"I can't tell you untill we're there!" i smiled.

I started the car and drove off.

It took about 20 minutes until we were there.

we got out of the car, Mia had a really big smile on her face.

"This is really cute!" She said

I leaned in and kissed her.

we walked across the road and onto the grass.

i had set up a picnic for the two of us next to the river.

It was such a great idea, because i knew she would love it!
