Chapter 5

big friendly smiles!

-Mia's P.O.V-

I walked into the house and saw Bradie and Andy standing at the kitchen bench. Andy was with some blonde girl, she was actually really pretty.

"Hi Guys" Andy said as he made his way over to us.

" Hey." Shaun muttered under his breath at the same time as me.

"this is Jade, my girlfriend. Jade this is Mia Shaun's cousin." Andy introduced.

We said hi to each other then we all took a seat on the two couches that were sitting in the lounge room behind a massive flat screen tv. Andy, Jade and Shaun sat on one couch and Bradie took a seat next to me on the other.

Shaun had the remote and flicked through a couple of Channels.

" so, how long are you up here for?" Bradie asked.

"well about two weeks, depending on when my mum wants to come home!" I replied. We all sat there and stared at the tv, they were watching some kind of sport, I wasn't really interested so I didn't pay much attention, neither did Bradie we chatted though almost the whole game.

Bradie was a really nice guy from what I could see, they all were. Well Andy was a little strange but I guess they all were in their own way.

"I think I'm gonna get going, Brooke will be waiting for me at home" Shaun announced.

"Can Mia stay?" Bradie asked. " I haven't showed her my spiderman collection yet!"

"really that's up to her, I just can't get her back home that's all." Shaun said.

"I would really love to, but I should probably go. It's getting a bit late anyway and I'm still a bit tired after the plane, if you're not busy tomorrow you can show me? I asked almost giggling at the thought of a 20 year old man begging me to stay to see his Spider-Man collection.

"We're not busy tomorrow come around when ever you want, well be here." Andy added.

I said goodbye to them and headed for the door with Shaun after me.

"Wait." I searched my pockets. " I've lost my phone."

Bradie smiled the biggest smile I had ever seen a human smile! He walked over and handed me my phone, still with a massive grin on his face.

Shaun's P.O.V

I think there might of been a little bit of something going on between Mia and Bradie. I'll just have to wait and see what happens after Brooke and I go away to the gold coast for New Years Eve.

We got in the car and drove home, it was a really quiet trip home with the radio playing one of my mates Matty, he runs a show with this really tall, hot chick named Maude it's the Hot30 countdown.

I dropped Mia off at home and headed for my house. I couldn't wait to get home to Brooke and Honey, I had really missed them today.
