Chapter 4

Best Friends don't need to knock

Uncle John's house had changed a lot since I had been there last. They had moved furniture around and looked like they had been renovating. But the place looked amazing, the floor boards had been polished, the walls had been painted a chocolate brown and the Kitchen looked to clean and really big.

"Hello Stanger!" I heard someone say as I stopped staring at amazement of the house.

I looked up and found myself in the arms of Patricia, Uncle John's wife and well I guess Shaun's mother! She was a lovely lady, she wouldn't ever hurt a fly.

"How have you been? It's so great to see you!" I asked

"I've been good thanks and how about yourself, John told me you were working at the supermarket."

"yeah I've been really good, working and band stuff but that's about it."

Shaun lend me upstairs and showed me to the guest room.

"I'm going over to Andy's and Bradie's house soon, did you want to come?" Shaun asked

"Sounds like a plan!" I replied while placing my bag on the floor and following him down the hallway and down the stairs.

I sat on the couch next to uncle john and we talked for a bit. We were like each other's diaries we knew everything about each other and told each other everything, I have to say I'm really proud of the relationship I have with my uncle, I'm closer to him then I am to my own parents.

"Are you ready to go?" Shaun asked from behind the couch.

I stood up and walked over to get my shoes on. And Shaun did the same, we said goodbye to John and Patricia and left for Andy's and Bradie's house.

Shaun's P.O.V

I jumped in the front seat of the car and turned on the engine while I waited for Mia to walk around the front of the car, get in and put her seatbelt on.

All Time Low was playing because I left it on before, I really like All Time Low but they're not as good as Blink that's for sure! We talked a little bit, just to get to know each other. It was really cool I hadn't met any of my cousins before and Mia was more than I could wish for, she was really nice.

We arrived out the front of their house and I opened the door and walked in with Mia after me.
