"umm.. well i would normally talk to Shaun about this. but he's busy. and I kind of wanted to talk to you"

Mia could see the hurt in Luke's eyes, after he mentioned Shaun being busy. he really did love his brother a lot.

"There's ahh.." he paused searching for the right words to say.

"This girl." he turned a deep red in his cheeks.

Mia grabbed his hand "Hey don't be embarrassed! what's her name?" then let go.

"Kaitlyn." she waited for him to go on. he didn't!

"okay. have you spoken to her?"

"well.. ah.. that's the thing. i don't know how to start a conversation with her."

"just say hey to her!"

"she'll think i'm weird if i do that!" he complained. "i could ask her if she wanted to go and get a milkshake?" his face lit up like he had just thought of the answer to the worlds hardest question.

"great idea!"

"but dad probably won't let me go." his shoulders sunk and he looked back down at the ground.

"I can talk to him for you if you like?"

"thanks!"

Luke got up and off the bed, then left the room quietly shuting the door so that he wouldn't wake anybody up.

Mia searched through her bag and got some clothes out. not long after she was in her ensuite.

Mja looked at herself in the mirror. feeling like this just wanted to curl up and watch a movie with her bestfriend Jessica, instead of go to a party tonight.

The warm water on Mia's back felt really nice. she didn't feel like getting out of there for a while. but she couldn't waste the hot water.

was she over reacting with the way she suddenly felt towards Bradie, or was she just going too fast?

toweling herself dry, then slipping her my Chemical Romance t-shrit over her head, pulling on her black skinny legged jeans. she striaghtened her hair and quickly put her eye liner on (Mia never wore much make-up) And tip toed down the stairs.

"where are you going?" Luke asked looking away from what looked like he was watching Sponge-Bob square pants.

"for a walk." she said smiling at him.

"dad left just before to go to the hardware. he said to me to ask you if you could stay free this afternoon because he would like to go out for lunch with you."

"alright thanks, i'll give him a call." she opened the door and went outside.

reaching into the pocket of her jeans she remebered she got a text before.

it was from Shaun.

"Hey I was just wondering if you were busy this afternoon? would love to spend some time with you! all good if you are busy just call me as soon as you get this? x -Shaun"

About 5 minutes of walking Mia came to a park. she sat down on a bench and called Shaun.

"Hello"

"hey Shaun it's Mia."

"ah, you got my text then?"

"Yeah, sorry your dad got in first, maybe we could do something tomorrow?"

"That sounds good! are you going to Andy's and Bradie's party tonight?"

"i kinda promised Andy I would!"

"ha! alright i'll see you tonight." He replied.

"okay see you later."

"bye!" We hung up the phone.

Great now I seriously have to go. Jade will be there I can just hang around with her.
