Adia and Alden arrived back at the house. Neither of them had said a word to each other on the walk back to the house. Alden opened the door for Adia and let her walk in, in front of him. She walked in with her head hanging low. Then on the ground she saw a pair of shoes. She slowly looked up and she saw Armando standing in front of her. He said a stern look on his face and he also looked angry.
Alden closed the door then turned round. Also noticing their father standing in the entry way. Neither of them said a word. Alden knew by his fathers face that he had heard them transforming. "You two. Meeting room!...NOW!" Adia's fathers voice made a shiver go up her spine. She had never heard him speak like that. In that tone before. Alden walked up behind Adia and Armando started to make his way up the stairs. He placed his Hand on Adia's shoulder and gave it a slight tap. Then walked round her and went up the stairs following Armando. Adia took a long deep breath and started to walk up the stairs as well. When she arrived in the meeting room Armando and Alden were all ready there. Armando was standing facing the fire place and Alden was sitting on the table with his arms behind him balancing himself so he wouldn't fall back. Adia walked over to the table and sat on a chair. Pulling it out from under the table and placing it in the direction of her dad. Armando was tapping the fire place with a pen. Then he stopped and placed the pen down quietly. Adia's heart was racing out of her chest. She was scared and nervous. She felt Alden's hand squeeze hers. Alden had always done that. When ever she felt scared he would always squeeze her hand, or give her a hug, or tap her shoulder. He always knew.
Armando slowly turned round to face them. He stood with his arms crossed looking down at them. "Well what happened then?" He Asked finally,"and don't lie!". Alden gulped then answered. "Well you see.." Alden didn't know what to say. He couldn't think of the words. Armando's head moved slightly to face Adia. "Adia?". No one said anything for what felt like years. "If you hadn't have decided to send me away!.." Adia shouted but didn't finish her sentence. "Don't dare shout at me!!" Roared Armando. Alden stood up from sitting on the table quickly. "She has a right to" said Alden, "you would do the same if someone said they were gonna send you away!!". Armando looked at Alden angrily. "YOU DO NOT TELL ME WHATS RIGHT AND WRONG, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!" Shouted Armando. Adia felt like crying. Armando had never been so angry about her transforming before. Why was he angry now?. "EVERYTHING GOING ON AND YOU GO AND DO THAT!" Shouted Armando again. "WELL I WASN'T GONNA LET HER JUST RUN AWAY!" Shouted Alden, "SHE HAS NO IDEA ABOUT..." Alden stopped shouting. He looked down at Adia sitting on the chair. He could see her eyes starting to water. He sighed and scratched his head.
"Adia leave" said Armando calmly but sternly.

Adia arrived at her bed room on the other side of the house. She could still hear Alden and Armando shouting. Although she couldn't make out what they were saying. She walked into her room and threw herself onto her bed. She grabbed a pillow and buried her head into it. She stayed like that crying for a few minuets. Then she reached for the bed side drawer and opened the top drawer. She look out a picture frame. It was a old dark brown picture frame with chips out the sides and corners of it. It had been facing picture down in the drawer. She turned it the other way. There was a picture of a woman. She had long, beach wavy, platinum blonde hair that reached all the way to the bottom of her back. She was holding a baby. The baby had large bright eyes and not much hair. The baby was Alden. It was a picture of Adia's mum and Alden as a baby. It was the only picture she had of her. It made her sad. Knowing that there wasn't a picture of herself with her mum. It also made her sad because she was no longer there. The day Alden transformed right in front of her everything changed. Adia had only been a baby at the time when her mum left. She never knew what it was like to have a mother. She didn't remember her mum.

Alden had walked into Adia's room. Although Adia hadn't heard him. He leaned over the bed and looked over Adia's shoulder to see the picture she was looking at. He sighed "looking at the picture of mum again?" He Asked already knowing the answer. "Yes" Replied Adia turning round to sit up on the bed and faced Alden. Alden sat down on the edge of the bed. "You shouldn't look at that" Alden said. "She left forget about her". Adia didn't say a word. She had never known her mum. Although she had never managed to forget about her. "All she done was leave us anyway!" Said Alden, he didn't shout but he did talk loudly and seriously. Then Adia saw something she had never seen in her life. She looked at Alden. He was facing the floor and she saw a tear run down his cheek and land on his leg. Alden had always been so strong and brave. Adia had never seen a single tear drop from his eyes ever. Alden quickly rubbed his eyes and stood up. "It's getting late" he said "you should get some sleep". He walked out the room and closed the door not saying anymore. Adia sat on her bed not knowing what to think. She fell back and her head landed on her pillow and she slowly sinked into her bed.
