Adia woke up and saw a bright light. She could hear lots of people talking and the sound of people rushing about. There was the sound of constant sirens and the odd shout every now and then. It took Adia a few minutes before she came to her senses and realised where she was. She was sitting in a chair, in the waiting room of a hospital. Then it hit her. Her heart began to race and she was having trouble catching her breath. Everything around her seemed to blur. She wasn't able to see well and all sounds had been muffled. A doctor came rushing over to see if she was okay.
Blackness...
Hours passed and Adia slowly opened her eyes. She saw the bottom half of a hospital bed and a door to get into the room. She realised she was in a hospital bed. After slowly looking around the room she tried to get up. She sat on the right had side of the hospital bed, bent over with her head in her hands. She began sobbing. Tears ran like a water fall uncontrollably from her now not so bright but dark green eyes. She stayed crying for quite a long time. Finally she whipped her eyes. She realised she had to find out what happened to her dad.
A doctor was walking along the corridor when Adia walked out of the hospital room she was in. "Excuse me" Adia Called after the doctor. The doctor turned round to face Adia . She looked only a few years older than Adia. She had fair skin and bright blue eyes. Her black hair was in a side plait and some hair was put framing her face. The Doctor smiled at Adia. "Can I help you?" The doctor asked. "Erm...yes.." Adia paused ...."I'm looking for my dad". The doctor slowly walked over to Adia. "What's his name?" Asked the doctor still smiling. A few awkward seconds passed then Adia answered. "Armando mai-coh" answered Adia finally. The doctor stood thinking for a few minutes. "Oh yes follow me" said the doctor finally. The doctor quickly turned round and walked down the corridor. Talking short, quick steps. The doctor gave a bright smile to everyone they passed. Then finally she stopped. "Your father is in this room, call if you need anything" said the doctor before walking back down the corridor.
Adia slowly reached for the door handle and opened the door. The door creaked open. Adia shivered at the sound of the creaking door. She looked into the room and saw her father lying in a hospital bed. He was surrounded by machines and had drips pumping blood into him. His eyes were closed and he looked lifeless with his very pale face. Adia quickly turned round and closed the door. She leaned back onto the now closed door. "Oh my god" said Adia breathlessly. She stood for a few minuets trying to control her breathing. She didn't want to have another panic attack or pass out again. After Adia pulled herself together she opened the door again and walked into her dads hospital room.
She walked over to the side of the hospital bed and pulled up a chair. She sat down in the chair slowly and stayed looking at her dad. Tears ran down her cheeks. It was as if her entire world was crumbling all over again. She had never been that close with her dad. She never done anything with him. It was always Alden. Adia started to think about what happened. Her brother. Her best friend. Had been shot and killed and now she was sitting in a hospital room with her father who was unconscious. Nothing that had happened had seemed real. Although seeing her dad in the hospital bed made everything seem more real. She wished so much that her dad would be okay. She couldn't lose him as well as Alden. She had no idea how she would cope. As far as she could see, she wouldn't be able to deal with it all. Hours passed and Adia had changed position several times. She was now standing at the window looking out. The sun was setting and the sky was a beautiful shade of orange and pink. All she could hear were the beeping sounds of the machines behind her surrounding her dad and the odd bird chirping as all the birds were making their way to there nests to sleep for the night. The moon was already out. Because of the sky the moon had a orange reflection on it so the moon to looked orange. It was a full moon. Adia sighed. A single tear ran down her cheek and fell down and landed on the floor.
"Adia" said a quiet voice. Adia turned round and saw her father looking up at her. "Dad" said Adia almost whispering. She walked over to the bed so that she was closer to her dads hospital bed. "Hey my little wolf" said Armando quietly with a smile. "Oh dad!" Adia walled "Alden is dead, what are we meant to do!?". Tears began to run down her face again. "A....Adia....I want....I want you to run.......run as far away...as you can......a....and....never look back...I....i....want you to look...". Armando stopped talking. Adia looked up because she been looking down with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes and realised that her dads eyes were closed.
"Dad?" Said Adia.
"Dad!...Dad!!.....answer me!!!"
"Dad!!!!!"
