I Need You

Trying gets harder

"Yeah. I'm in the middle of tutoring someone, right now. Just come to the campus. I'll meet you out front so you don't get lost." She said into the phone before pausing. "Yeah. Probably for the rest of this week and next. Depending on how much he already knows." She said.

I looked down at the notebook in front of me. Her handwriting was far from neat but it was still cute and pretty. I looked at the writing that read the subject of the class and proceeded to flip through. Her note taking was pretty good. If I had to, I could learn the subject just from her notes. I got to the section where today's notes were done and looked over them.

Within the margin of her paper sat little scribbles of a conversation. I tilted the book slightly to read them and almost blushed.

"hes adorable!"
"hes got big ears!"
"shut up, Jin. they're cute!"

She thought my ears were cute? Was this with the guy that was messing with her earlier? Why would she tell her boyfriend that? Maybe I should stay away.

"Well I was thinking he can come along. Since he just moved here, maybe we can all take him to get some good food and show him around." She said.

Was she talking about me? I looked up at her from our books and watched her. Now that I was closer, I could see she had blue eyes but that was clearly only contacts. A slight hint of brown came through, making the blue look slightly grey.

"I do not! I just want to help him make friends! And I know were an odd bunch but big brother Jin would love to make friends with him!" She said, slightly flustered.

Big brother. So is she single? I'm so confused.

"Whatever, bunny. I'll talk to you in about ten minutes. I have to get back to what I was doing. Love you, kid. See you soon." she said, before hanging up the phone.

She was adorable when she got flustered. Makes me want to hug her. I wonder if she'll ask me to join them. It would be nice to have some friends already. She seems really sweet.

"Alright! Sorry about that. My brother is on his way. I have to help him, too. Let's get back to it." She said, smiling at me.

"You tutor your brother?" I asked.

"Yeah. He wants to learn English and he also needs help in his science." She said, smiling at me.

"How old are you?" I asked, impressed. "You look so young! Like you should be in high school."

She gave a small giggle and covered her mouth. The way her giggle rang in my ears made me smile and when her eyes smiled with her lips, I couldn't help but try and resist kissing her.

"I'm 20. Second year student, here, and also in a current battle to keep my top of the class position with Namjoon." She said, smiling.

"Second year? Me too!" I said, getting slightly excited.

"That's awesome! Now I don't feel so weird." She laughed. "By the way! Were all heading to the amusement park later I'd you want to come. You know. Get you out and about. Maybe we can be your first group of friends."

"That would be nice. Yeah. If you guys wouldn't mind, I'd love to join." I said, smiling.

"Awesome! Everyone is pretty cool. I think you will like them. We have a bit of everything in our group." She giggled and seemed to glow as she spoke.

I went to comment when her phone went off. She excused herself and stood up, answering it.

"Are you here?" She paused. "Alright. I'm on my way out, now. Wait in the lounge. I'll be there in 5 minutes." She hung up the phone and looked at me. "I'm so sorry. I will be right back. I have to get my brother. Look over the notes and see if you don't understand anything. We can go over what you don't know when I get back." She said before running out.
