Min-Hee
"G! X! D! A!" Everyone chanted.
I looked around the restaurant and watched as my dance class raised up drinks. Jimin was to my left while the rest of our posse was lining up at my right, starting with Taehyung. We had taken first place by almost 50 points.
"You two were amazing! Namjoon said, smiling.
"I can't believe the judge actually started a standing ovation!" one of the dance members said.
I looked over at Jimin and threw my arms around his neck in a tight hug. The rewards we received made it all worth the time it took to return my relationship with Jimin back to what it should be. Taehyung was still skeptical about him but it wasn't hard to see why after everything.
"Everyone. I have an announcement. Mainly for Jimin and Min-Hee. There is good news and bad news." Our instructor said.
We all quieted down and looked at him as he stood up. He picked up his drink then smiled as me and Jimin before looking to the rest of the table.
"First of all. Congrats to our very own Park Jimin and Jeon Min-Hee." He said, bringing everyone to a cheer. "We've been with each other since you both were in your middle school years. It's been a royal pleasure to be your instructor."
Everyone raised their glasses and cheered.
"Now. For the news. We had company at that competition. As you all know, that was the biggest competition of the year. Last year we won a remodeling of our dance hall. This year, they switched it up and gave a choice." As he spoke, silence fell across the table as well as confusion.
"We had the option to either take the dance studio from an entertainment company and freely use it, or we could send our winners to them." All eyes shifted to Jimin and me. "That being said. Jimin and Min-Hee. There were at least four companies there and they all want you two to come and train with them."
Jimin and I looked at each other in disbelief as he spoke. "They want to fully pay for your college tuition as long as you graduate and they want you both to join their companies as a duo to be k-pop idols."
I screamed and jumped up, practically exploding. Everyone else stood up and gathered around us, cheering. Taehyung jumped up and took me in his arms, twirling me and planting a kiss on my lips. I looked at him then at everyone else, my smile fading.
"Your other option is to forfeit the opportunity and stay with us, but you won't get this chance for a long while if ever again." He said.
"I want to think about this. Jimin. You don't have to wait, but I'm-" He cut me off.
"I would like to think about it, too. It's a big decision." He said.
Our instructor nodded and smiled at us. "Whatever you decide to do, just know were all behind you on your decisions."
I smiled and thanked everyone before finishing off my drink. On one hand, I'll finally be able to put all my hard work into action. On the other hand, I know what the idol life is like. And that would mean I leave behind everyone. Including Taehyung. I mentally sighed and ordered another drink, as Taehyung rested his hand on my knee and rubbed it softly. I will talk about it later with them. For now I'm going to enjoy our celebration.
