“Is she okay?” I asked taking my shoes off.

“She's fine. She's in her room.” Namjoon said, nodding towards the hall.

I headed towards her room, my head swirling. What happened? Why did she cut everyone off? I opened the door and opened my mouth to speak only to find her curled up to a sleeping Jungkook. That kid really is something. He cares about her more than I have ever seen anyone care about someone.

I leaned against the door frame and crossed my arms, smiling. Namjoon came up next to me and copied, leaning against the other side.

“They have always been this way. If one is missing, chances are the other is too.” He said. “You should have seen them back in school. Someone made her cry because they made fun of her being adopted and Jungkook beat the hell out of them.”

“So she really is adopted, then.” I said.

“Yeah. I met their mom and dad when I was dating her. She showed me Min’s certificate because I thought she was joking.” He admitted.

I watched as she shuffled and rolled over only for Jungkook to pull her tighter to him. I chuckled and smiled at the sight.

“Ever since I knew them, they would always do this. When her and I broke off, she went to Yoongi's house with Jungkook and Yoongi said they both slept on the couch. He was leaned up against the arm of it and she was leaning back against him.” He said with a small laugh.

“She really is something amazing. And I wish I never screwed it up. But I did. And now she's yours. Please take care of her. She's tough but she's also soft.” He said before heading back to the living room.

I watched him walk away, hearing his words echo.

“Taetae?” I heard.

Looking at the bed, I watched as Min-Hee sat up and rubbed her eyes.

“Hey, beautiful.” I said, softly, as I walked into the room.

Jungkook shuffled and sat up, yawning and wrapping up in the blankets. She looked at him and patted his head before yawning and stretching.

“Morning, kookie.” She said.

He gave a mumbled response which brought a laugh from her. They really are something. And knowing how close they are, to be accepted by him makes my relationship with her all the more special.

“You’re such a sleepy butt in the morning.” She teased.

He turned his head to look at her, though his eyes seemed like they were still closed. She held back a laugh only for him to whine and flop back into the pillow, yanking the blankets off her. I chuckled as she fell back laughing while he pulled her back down and proceeded to whine and throw a mock tantrum.

I laughed and smiled at them as he calmed down and cuddled her.

“Noona. I want coffee.” He said, half asleep.

“Then let's get you to the kitchen and get you some coffee, bunny.” She said trying to get up

“Don't wanna move.” He groaned.

She sighed and grabbed the edge of the bed. U watched as she dragged Jungkook across the bed while he tried not to laugh.

“Oh my god, Bunny. You're not a baby anymore! You're too heavy for this!” She laughed.

“I am a baby! I'm the maknae!” He shouted as she continued to drag him. “Carry me!”

He jumped out if bed and nearly knocked her over as he jumped on her back. They got into a playful argument as she linked her arms around his thighs and carried him out the room.

“Bunny! You are so heavy!” She laughed.

“What is going on?” Hoseok asked before laughing.

“I have a spoiled little brother!” She laughed as Jungkook pouted, acting cute.

I followed behind them and smiled before watching her hold onto him and spin in a circle, the room filling with his laughter as she did so. It was almost head over heels adorable how they interacted. They switched roles when need be but once things were settled, they were right back to their normal selves.

“Noona? Can we please get ice cream today?” He asked.

“After class. Okay? You've been doing good lately.” She said, making him pout.

She set him down and smiled, looking up at him. This made me laugh, drawing her attention as she pranced over to me.

“What's so funny?” She asked in a jokingly accusatory manner.

“He's younger than you but so much taller!” I cried out, leaning against the wall.

“I'm still older!” She shouted, acting offended.

“Even Jimin is taller than her, though.” Namjoon said.

“HEY!” they both whined.

“You guys are making your own coffee.” She huffed before making way to the kitchen.

I cut my laughter short and watched her, my chest light. It's only been about eight months, but it was undeniable. Her smile, her laugh, the way she carries herself. Everything about her. I loved it. I love her. Im…

I'm in love with her.
