Hi... I'm Nevaeh and I'm 16. I go to rock field high school and I'm a nobody. My father is a drunk and I'm a punching bag. This is my story of the past few months.
"NEVAEH I THOUGHT I TOLD U TO PICK UP YOUR GOD DAMN THINGS" my dad slurred as I walked through the door.
"Sorry dad i forgot" I mumbled trying to walk away. Before I could take five steps I was spun around and smacked across the face. The all to familiar feeling of my dads hands hitting my face was soon felt. He kicked me a few times and I spit up a bit of blood but tonight I was lucky cuz he stopped soon after.
Normally this would sound intense right? Well with my dad this was normal ever since my mom died of an over dose when I was 9. I've learned to live with it but it gets hard ya know. Not to mention tomorrow's the first day of school and I'm gonna have to cover up some new bruises.
*first day of school*
I walk into this hell hole we are required to attend and look around and see the same screaming idiots as last year. I look down at my sheet to see what's my locker number when I'm pushed to the ground.
"Aww girls look the pathetic loser got a new charity to let her come to school this year how nice"
"Shut up Carly" I snarled
"Aww don't be such a party pooper nevay were just trying to have a little fun" she gave me a devious smirk as I got up and continued looking for my locker.
This is a normal day a few pushes and giggles, mean remarks and glares. you get used to it.
*ring*
Yay schools done for the day sadly I'll have to come back tomorrow.
Nevay starts walking home when she hears the sound of bikes. she starts to speed up but only heard them getting closer. when she looks behind her she see the boys from the lacrosse team who always mess with her. she starts running and they speed up too. one of the boys get up next to her and pushes her into a bush. she falls and hits her head hard on a rock. the boys start kicking her and laughing. after what feels like forever they stop, leaving nevaeh there in the dark. She starts to get up but everything turns blurry and dark. she falls back down as the world fades out into darkness...
