The siren scared me because I didn't know if I'd get sent back to the house or to another abusive home.
Garret could see I was scared but assured me with a pat on the back that I would be fine. The police stopped and got out walking towards us. "Y/n, you can keep running away, sooner or later we'll have to do more consequences. Come on let's get you back to Jax."
"NO!" I yelled scared out of my mind. "Please don't take me back there he's mad having withdrawl from what I can only assume is drugs," I explained.
The officer sighed and spoke into his communicator telling others to go to Jax and see if he started drugs again.
"Alright let's get you back," He said.
I looked to Garret and he said, "I'd actually like to adopt them."
The officer in shock was surprised. "This one likes to run away, so be ready for that," The officer explained. "We have to bring you back to get forms filled out, and they need to check your place to make sure it's nice and clean."
"Okay," Garret said, his voice cracking slightly.
I knew Garrett wasn't the cleanest person but if his place was disgusting I'd be more willing to help clean it up.
-time skip because I'm a lazy bitch-
After some convincing, my child service protector(?) decided she would trust me with Garret even after seeing his dirty place, but I finally felt home.
