Shiloh was the one with me when I woke up. Adrien was the one who gave me tea to calm me down. Gideon was the one that smiled and told me everything was going to be okay. And for a moment, I couldn't be happier that I woke up with them by my side.

The boys have convinced themselves I'm not allowed to sleep ever again.
At least, I thought they were joking or just messing with me.
But as time went on, I realized they were completely serious and would not let me close my eyes longer than two seconds without trying to shake me or "snap me out of it". They took shifts to stay by my side and keep me wide awake. They are determined not to let me pass out again and risk being trapped in another one of Alexius's mind prisons.
It was then when I realized they truly cared about me or were worried about my general well-being. I am deeply grateful for that and I'll never doubt them again. Even so, the idea of hanging out with serial killers is still a bit scary. Granted their reasons appear to be sound, I have to still be cautious. But maybe not as much as I was before. I can trust them. Maybe a little bit.
"You're okay right?" Shiloh asks once again, holding me close under his arm.
I nod at him with a slight smile, "I'm fine. But you guys don't have to worry about me so much-"
"We're not letting him trap you again," Adrien calls from across the bedroom. He sits on his bed with a mess of books and papers scattered around him. He looks up with a serious expression, "He's not taking another human. Not again."
"Lucky Everr was hanging around," Gideon adds worriedly, "if he hadn't seen Alexius you would still be trapped." Gideon scoots closer to my side with his arm wrapped around my waist keeping me close. I let my head rest back on the mountain of pillows with my arms tucked under the blankets.
Everr, the young man part of the Night Mares and apparent ally of the Silencers. I'm thankful he was here too, even if he looked ready to kill us when I first met him earlier.
Shiloh sighs as he rests his head on my shoulder. His oily black hair shines in the low lights giving off a silver shine. His half-scarred face is facing the other way letting me see a glimpse of what Shiloh would look like without the scars. He slowly blinks before glancing up at me, "We were so worried about you, Eve. I don't know what we would have done if something happened to you."
"Probably kill Alexius in some gruesome way, or torture him to death," Gideon answers darkly. "I can't believe that guy... attacking you like that."
"And he had the audacity to try convincing you to stay with him," Adrien growled in disgust. He slams one of his book close before scowling at his hands. "He's mocking us now. Trying to take Eve away from us."
Part of me feels guilty for leaving Alexius like that. Granted it wasn't my fault the dream ended, I still feel bad telling him I could help when I couldn't. But what if I could? What if all he needs is a friend? I push away those thoughts convincing myself he was manipulating me. He probably is trying to lure the boys into some kind of trap. It was what his goal was from the start, according to Adrien.
"That's why we have to strike now," Gideon announces proudly, "we'll set the trap at his party and let Eve release the Masser on him!"
"Then what?" Shiloh asks nervously.
Adrien stops shuffling through his paper. He looks up with a grave expression before meeting the gaze of everyone in the room. Including me. The room falls silent for a long moment. Gideon begins to smile before his arm tightens around my waist. "Have you made your decision, Addy?"
