A person is stumbling around in the middle of the yard, kicking up snow and spinning around like a crazy person. I make a bewildered expression and peer out the glass. I lean closer to the door making sure I don't touch it to make it dirtier. The strange sight seemed to calm my jittery nerves but it's still weird.

The person spins around making a mini tornado of snow around them. They take off running to the right, briefly disappearing, before running all the way back like something was chasing them. They are shadowed because of the darkness outside so I can't exactly see them...

Another figure bursts from a giant snow drift, shaking their head like a dog. I make a confused face as I stare at the weirdos running around in the snow. I can faintly hear yelling... I begin to unlock the door, slowly and quietly, and slide it open. A bitter wind rushes towards me making me shiver. Shrinking back, I rub my forearm trying to offer some warmth but also staying inside. Their voices now clear as they run around like lunatics in the snow.

"IT"S COLD! SO COLD! AH! TOO COLD! GET ME OUT OF HERE!" a high pitched voice shrieks from the pinball figure. He whips around in the snow trying to jump five feet in the air only to land in the snow again. He lets out an angered scream before continuing to run around. The one in the snow drift is shivering violently and I swear I can hear his teeth chattering from here.

"I-I was wrong," he stammers, "i-it isn't a blanket." He groans sounding in pain and drops his head, "I think my hands are going to fall off..."

Those voices. They... are higher than they should be. Kids. They're kids, I realize. And why don't they know what snow is? I open the door further as I watch one go nuts and hop around. He looks up sharply seeming startled by the opening door, meeting my gaze with such intensity it nearly knocks me back. I reel back from the glass, staring directly into his eyes. Glinting copper in the low light, almost glowing like they were burning. Shadowed in an oversized cloak, he straightens as if he were taller than me letting snow slip off his shoulders.

"W-What are you doing?" I ask, raising my voice to reach them. I stand taller as well, suddenly worried for my own safety. Something's wrong. Duh you know that, but something else is giving me a bad feeling.

"A human..." the one "snuggled" up in the snowdrift mumbles, eying me from under his thick hood. His entire face shadowed by his Grim Reaper style hood.

"Who are you?" I ask louder giving them a look.

"Where is our friend?" the one with the burning copper eyes shouts in a demanding tone.

I narrow my eyes at him, "What are you talking about?" I scan him over trying to get a better look but the night is too dark. All I can see is his metallic eyes and his dark cloak, his voice suggests he's about Shiloh's age-, wait. Is he talking about Shiloh?

"Someone our age," the one in the snowdrift calls, "answers to Shilohres?"

I make a face. "Shilohres?" I ask confusedly. "Uh... I don't know any Shilohres, but there is a Shiloh here..."

"Yes!" Copper eyes brighten, "Where is he?"

I glance back into the house then back at them, "Who are you to him?" I ask suspiciously, tilting my head to the side. And what's with the weird accent? And why are they dancing in the snow? This is so weird...

"We're his friends, that's Gideonres and I'm Adrienres," the one in the snowdrift explains shortly. His voice may be high pitched but he seriously talks like he's older... what is with these kids? Please don't be vampires, please don't be vampires...

I think for a moment before remembering that moment with the duckie. Gideon and Adrien. I nod slowly, "Uh Gideon and Adrien?"

I catch Copper Eyes shudder and quickly shake his head, "Why are you-?" he begins but the guy in the snowdrift cuts him off.
