*Adriana's P.O.V*
I wake up to a big room in a large bed. The view of the ocean from my window is breathtaking. The curtains softly float with the wind and the ocean water smells fresh and salty. I don't remember much from last night. I lift my head and try to familiarise myself with my surroundings. My legs ache as I try to stand up. Probably because I was running in 5 inch heels. I head towards the couch and notice that there is a note with some clothes next to it.
"Good Morning Adriana. I have left clothes for you to change into. There is a shower in the next room. When you are done, come through the hall and down the stairs, pass the dining room and meet me in the kitchen" -Adam
My head starts to fill with thoughts of Adam. I don't know where we stand. We spoke for a long time last night when Peter and Nathan were looking for the girls. He seemed so genuine and kind. It has been so hard to talk to anyone about my grandmothers death, but with him, it felt easy. I decide to quickly shower and get rid of these dirty clothes. I'm excited to see my sisters.
Once I get dressed in the casual clothes Adam offered, I open the bedroom doors and to my surprise, he is waiting there for me. He greeted me with a warm smile. "Good morning" He said. I smiled in response. His presence made me nervous and I think he could tell. I need to ask him what is happening but I'm afraid of what he might say.
"Follow me" He says. He turns and walks in the direction of a long hallway. We didn't speak after that. We walk down the hallway and past a lounge room probably the size of our humble apartment. Then we make our way into the kitchen.
"What do you want for breakfast?" Adam asked, gaining my attention.
"I'm not hungry" I say simply. Even though I'm starving, I don't want to trouble him with making me food. I then see Laura walking down the hallway looking angry and confused with Peter next to her. You can tell she just woke up because her hair is everywhere and her face is half asleep.
