Till Death Do Us Part

Chapter 11

Adam, Adriana, Laura and Peter wait patiently for Nathan and Camilla in the kitchen. Suddenly, they hear steps coming down the stairs.

"Are you ready to go?" Adam says looking at Nathan.

"Yes we are, are the cars loaded?" Nathan questions.

"They're all full. We need to leave soon, so we are not late. The limo is waiting outside" Adam explained.

Nathan holds the door open for the girls, while Peter helps them in the car.

"May I?", Peter says smirking at Laura with his hand out.

"I'm fine" she snapped at him.

Once they're all in the limo, discussion arises.

"So where exactly are we going?" Asks Adriana.

"We are going to our annual charity event for children in hospitals" Adam Responds.

"What are we going to do there?" Camilla asks.

"You ladies are required to do nothing, just have fun" Nathan says with a smile. He pops open a wine bottle and offers everybody a glass.

The drive to the building is half an hour. Everybody becomes settled and begins to have a good time. The tension between Laura and Peter fades away quickly with the amount of drinks they have. They finally reach a hotel which is located in the middle of the city. They walked into the grand lobby of the hotel. It was very modern with many glass statues and fountains. A huge chandelier took up most of the ceiling. 5 staff members came up to Peter and they spoke to him in private. They gave him 2 room keys and he proceeded to walk into a private elevator with everyone following behind him.

"Where are we going" Laura says laughing, still tipsy from the drinks in the car.

"We need to get ready for the event" Peter replied, holding her steady. The elevator makes a ding on the 58th floor. Laura nearly trips as she steps out of the elevator, but Peter catches her.

"She is already drunk, how much wine did she have?" Peter asked while holding her.

"Everyone had the same amount of wine, she's just a lightweight." Said Adriana.

Peter hands Adam a card and him and Nathan walk off.

"Here is your key to the girls room" Peter said while passing a card to Adriana.

"What are we meant to do?" Asked Camilla.

"There are clothes for you in the room. Be ready by 7pm sharp, and try get her sober" Peter says, while gesturing towards Laura.

The girls nod and turn to find room number 5801. "The Presidential Suite" Camilla reads. Adriana scans the card and opens the door. Laura is supported by Camilla as they enter the room. The girls gasp at the size of the room. When you first walk in there is a table with fresh red roses, a monstrous stack of suitcases filled with clothes and a gorgeous view of the city. There are three sets of double doors. Each opened into master bedrooms. Camilla opened the door to one room.

"I want this one!" She shouts. Adriana opens the door to another room and laughs with excitement. Camilla and Adriana come back into the living area and find Laura asleep on the couch.

"Wow the alcohol really got to her" Adriana said.

"Look at the time it's 12:00 pm" Camilla says worried.

"We only have 7 hours to get ready and we have so much to do. So lets start!" Adriana responds.
