Chapter 20 (Part 2)

*Camillas P.O.V*

As Nathan is asleep next to me, I try closing my eyes to relax, however something in my heart doesn't feel right. I hear my phone vibrate and check who it is. Suddenly my heart tightens, like it's being squeezed.

The text on my phone reads, 'We need to meet - Mom'

Millions of emotions drown me, causing wild chaos of confusion inside my mind. My mother is dead? Who is this text from? Could she really be alive?

I immediately jump out of bed and run through the hallways, racing to Laura's room. I opened it, without knocking and saw her looking at her phone.

"Laura! I just received the weirdest message", I exclaim. She looked at me with a single tear, welling up in her eyes. Never before, have I seen her cry.

"I got the message as well." she said with a soft voice. The confusion was displayed all over her face. Suddenly, I hear the door open and see Adriana approaching, with her phone raised to our faces.

"What is this?!", Adriana yelled. We all sat on the bed, staring at the text message.

"What does this mean?", Adriana said, finally breaking the silence.

"It must be some sick joke." Laura says dismissively, while wiping her eyes.

"Or.." I begin to say, "She might be alive. And if she is, we need to meet her"

We all look at each other, unsure of what to do. I get my phone, and open the message and being to type, 'Meet tonight at the forest, near the graveyard'. I look at the girls, we all nod approvingly and then I hit send.

*Laura's P.O.V*

I walk out of the closet, changed into dark clothes and a thick jacket. This whole thing is crazy. Who would play a joke like this? But what if Camilla was right... What if our mother is really alive? No. She can't be. She died, alongside my father in a car accident. Regardless though, I need to know who sent that text.

As I make my way out towards the door, I notice Peter, fast asleep with his hand around a pillow. Did he think that was me? I laughed to myself and continue to stare at him, admiring his peacefulness. Then, I quickly break my daze and leave the room.

*Adriana's P.O.V*

"Where are you going?!" Adam asked as I quickly reach for my coat.

"I'm just.. uhh.. going for a walk with the girls!" I say, trying to sound believable. I really wish I could tell Adam what was happening, but my sisters and I agreed to keep this a secret till it is sorted out.

"It's 12am. Who the hell goes for walks at 12am?" He questioned.

"Well, it's um, something we always do!" I say defensively. "It helps us relax."

"You don't look very relaxed" He replied, looking at my shaky hands.

"Exactly! Which is why I need to go on this walk!" I said, hiding my hands behind my back. "I'll be back soon, I promise." I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and ran out the door before he had time to respond.
