"Hey" Adriana says as the three girls approach Nathan, Adam and Peter.
"Hi, you guys look gorgeous " Adam Responds. All the guys nod their head in approval.
"My brother is here tonight I want to introduce you to him" Adam says to Adriana.
"Okay, I'm looking forward to it" she said.
Adam stands up, takes Adriana's hand and leads her in the direction of a group of men. Adam taps one of the man's shoulders. "Adriana this is Connor, my older brother" Adam explains.
"Hi nice to meet you" Adriana says in a kind voice.
"Hey, nice to meet you too" He smiles at Adriana . She noticed that Adam had put his arm around the side of her waist protectively. She puts her head down and blushes.
"Can I buy you guys any drinks" Connor says to break the awkward tension. Adriana and Adam both nod. "What do you guys want?" Connor asks.
"I'll have gin on the rocks" Adam says.
"I'll have the same" Adriana Replies.
"I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be back" Adam said.
"Ok, don't be long" Adriana says. Adam then leaves to go to the bathroom. Adriana and Connor are both waiting by the bar and they are talking about the gang and how Connor is involved. Adam's grandfather was the first to join the gang and that it is tradition for all the male family members to join as well. Connor moved closer to Adriana as the noise in the room was very loud. Just when he did that Adam came back from the bathroom.
"What are you doing Connor" Adam snaps.
"We are talking, what's this big deal" Connor explains.
"I need some fresh air, there are too many people here" Adriana excuses herself.
"I'll come with you" Conner says rapidly.
"No it's okay Connor, stay with your friends, I'll go with her" Adam said. Adam takes Adriana's hand and they exit the ballroom onto the terrace.
"I thought that we connected well with each other" Adam breaks the silence.
"So did I, why are you acting weird?" Adriana questions.
"Please, I could tell you were flirting with my brother." Adam spits out.
"Adam we were just talking, and I can't believe you think I would do that!" Adriana defends herself. Then, Camilla comes running in tears, on the terrace. She pulls Adriana's arm forcing her to follow, leaving Adam alone on the terrace.
