Chapter 7

As time passed, the wind gradually calmed down. They were driving up a mountain, heading to Nathan's house. Near the deserted mountain is the endless ocean. When the group arrived at Nathan's house, the boys walked out of the car, escorting the girls by opening the door. Peter looked at Laura, as she looked distraught.

"You can trust me" he whispered in her ear as he took her hand and helped her out of the vehicle.

"Please, you probably took us here to kill us" Laura scoffed.

"You're very difficult you know" He said under his breath.

Nathan, got his keys and opened the glass door. He held the door open, while the girls walked in. The house was all white with glass that showed off the amazing view. It was like a maze, that went on and on and on. In the middle of the house, was a spiral staircase that lead up to the bedrooms.

"So, are we just going to walk straight into our death?" Laura said while observing the mansion.

"Not quite. Follow me" Nathan said with a smile, directing the girls.

He showed them to a beautiful room, with many windows and couches. Nathan held Camilla's waist, and sat her down, Adam saved Adriana a spot next to him and Peter sat next to any empty chair, intended for Laura.

"You're unbelievable" Laura said as she glanced at Peter and the empty seat. "Ok, so what are we doing here?'', she questioned.

"Well, to put it simply: We are a gang", Nathan explained. Laura let out a laugh. "What, so you're a group of guys that kill people? But you said you won't kills us?", She scoffs. Adriana and Camilla didn't seem to find it funny, so Laura became serious.

"Well, not necessarily. We get involved with a spectrum of illegal activities like murder, corruption of public officials, gambling, tax fraud and stock manipulation schemes", Nathan explained.

"Thanks for the wikipedia definition" Peter said sarcastically.

"Well what are you going to do with us?'' Adriana questioned.

"You spend the night here until we figure out what we want to do with you'' Adam expressed.

"Well you can't keep us here. We're leaving. Now." Laura looks at the girls and they all stand up simultaneously.

"You can't leave, there is a great storm coming in an hour, you won't make it, you can spend the night here, I have many rooms" Nathan explained. The girls hesitated but then agreed. Laura rolled her eyes, still eager to leave. However, Peter grabbed her hand reassuringly and lead her upstairs to her bedroom. Nathan helped Camilla and Adam offered his hand to Adriana, which she gladly accepted. They walked upstairs together, making their way to the rooms.
