Hockey season had ended which meant the boys had more time on their hands after school. Jeongin had the great idea to have a day at the ice rink, their last chance since the rink would be closing for the spring.

Woojin had been very opposed to the idea and it wasn't until they arrived at the rink that they all saw why. The boy was like a baby deer learning to walk, teetering as he held onto the edge. Chan pitied him and went to help, the caring instinct in him not letting Woojin flail around like a wish. Minho smiled as He took Woojin's hands. For the first time ever, Minho saw a very flustered Woojin as Chan helped him skate around the rink.

Jeongin wanted to join on the fun too, so Chan held his hand as too, the three going in slow circles around the ice. Minho smiled at them.

As for Minho, he had Jisung - who knew how to skate, but still let Minho hold his hand because that was what boyfriend's did. They skated in circles like the rest of the masses, a few times Jisung pulling Minho forward with a giddy giggle. The boy caught up to him quickly, skating backwards for a few moments to see the plastered smile on Jisung's face.

"Stop staring." Jisung told him at one point, bashful as he covered his face with his hands. Minho slowed down, skating toward Jisung until they were leaned against the barricade.

"Why should I? I like your face." He poked his cheek to his prove his point and Jisung swatted his hand away.

"It's embarrassing." Jisung mumbled, gaze fixated on their skates.

"What is?" Minho whispered, wrapping him up in a hug and pressing kisses to his temple. "How much I like looking at you, because you're so pretty." Jisung scoffed.

"I'm not pretty."

"Handsome then, whatever. I have to look at you all the time, to make sure you're real." Jisung's arms wrapped around Minho's waist, holding him tight because he wanted to assure Minho of his existence. Minho hummed, hands skimming just under Jisung's sweater. Jisung yelped, pushing Minho away.

"You're hands are cold." He whined, not letting Minho closer. Minho made a face, looming closer and placing his hands on the either side of Jisung instead.

"Warm them up for me then." Jisung turned pink, dropping his head to Minho's chest. Minho giggled, the little hairs on Jisung's head tickling his nose. "How about a kiss instead?" Jisung doesn't move, Minho pushing his body forward until Jisung had nowhere else to look but up. Minho gave him a brief second before kissing him, Jisung's hands finding purchase in Minho's hair.

If he were anything like Jisung, he'd complain about how cold his hands were too, but he likes the way Jisung tugs when their lips connect, so he lets it slide. He likes when Jisung just kisses him like this, when he doesn't put up a fight. Sometimes he'll complain about something or other, not letting Minho steal any more kisses for the day. Other times, he's pliant under Minho's hold, letting him take what he wants because he wants it too. This was one of those times, his arms getting tighter around Minho's neck.

"There are people, you know!" Chan coughed, his baby deers in tow. Woojin isn't as unbalanced as before, but he still clung to Chan's hands, probably for other reasons though. Jeongin has let go all together, breezing past the pair with a happy smile.

"Guys, I'm doing it." He exclaimed, hands out like an airplane because he can't fully balance otherwise. Chan had a fond smile on his face as he watched him keep going. Woojin had one too, but he wasn't looking at Jeongin.

"Good for you." Jisung applauded, pushing away from Minho and skating forward. "Wanna race?" Jeongin smirked.

"I'm gonna win!" He shouted, ambling forward as fast as he could with his new found ability. Jisung gave him a few seconds before passing the boy all together, Minho laughing as they continued on their way.

"Jeongin is always up for the challenge." Chan noted, adjusting himself so he was holding only one of Woojin's hands. Minho could see the blush that coated Woojin's cheeks and he shook his head, Chan probably still oblivious as ever.

"Yeah well, he's the reason I'm with Jisung." Minho thought aloud because it was Jeongin's scream that had made him turn his head that day. It was Jeongin who told him about Jisung and who always, always had something up his sleeve. He was a sly freshman with a plan and Minho really ought to thank him for it.

Had it not been for Jeongin, Minho wouldn't be dating the cute red haired boy from the ice rink.
