Chapter 1

Saito POV

I was treating it like any other day of a high schooler homework, classes, CCA and repeat that everyday just not the CCA part. I walked to school sighing as I... wait what time is it? I looked at my wristwatch and my eyes bulged out of my eye sockets. I was late and very very late, I panicked and ran to school and just right when the second bell rang... 

Wait... the second bell rang?! Oh no I am in deep trouble, I ran into school changing into my school shoes and threw my sling bag over my shoulder and dash to class. The first thing I noticed is that my class is unusually quiet. Even if the second bell rang our teacher will be 10 minutes late and the class will be freaking noisy. 

I checked my watch and it has only been 5 minutes, I took precaution and slid open the back door quietly and slid it back as silently as I could and saw no one in the class. The class was empty their bags were not to be found, PE? No it can't be today is Friday... I checked the timetable at the front of class and saw English... 

I ran up to every floor searching for them but I didn't the school was as good as closed. I proceeded to walk out of the school gate when the metal gate outside locked loudly, a guy in a black suit with a gun walked into our school. I ran to my classroom and hid under my desk when I heard a 'psst'. 

I looked beside me and saw three others from my class, Connor, Daichi and Atachi. "Whats going on here?" I whispered to them in my raspy voice, they shrugged their shoulders when we hear foot steps echoing, our muscles tensed up as the guy walked into our classroom and started to yell in his walkie-talkie in rapid Japanese:" Watashi wa ga genzai iru dai ni reberu ni wa dare mo imasen. Watashi wa dare mo inai koto o kurikaesu." (Translation: There is no one at the second level where I am currently at. I repeat, there is no one) 

A raspy muffled voice came from the walkie-talkie and the guy left the room the sound of his foot steps becoming softer and softer. "Alright, we can't stay here forever we have to fight him or he might find us here sooner or later," Daichi said with a worried look on his face, "He has guns and we only have well, the brooms and dustpans..." The pessimist of the group, Connor said with a depressed look drawn on his face. 

I turned to them, " We have to clear a question first... why is there no one?" Atachi held up a poster that classes will be starting on 9 am please come to school by 8.55am on Friday because... its Teachers Day. "Even so... Atachi has the poster he wouldn't have came right?" Connor shook his head, "He follows me to school Saito. " Atachi looked at us his red eyes boring into my soul, "Because my dear maiden knowing you, you would have came to school so would Connor." He smirked at me. 

"Ahahaha what are you talking about Mademossielle" I replied back in a venomous tone, "I may be a girl... but call me a maiden again and I will kill you." I said with a smile a dark aura surrounding me and I cracked my knuckles. He shivered and stopped teasing me. "You shouldn't tease her like that Atachi, she has a black belt in both Karate and Taekwondo and she almost broke a gangsters wrist once when they angered her saying something about girls being weak," Daichi whispered into his ear with fear and awe at the same time. 

I opened my bag and tossed them weapons, Daichi a small revolver, Atachi a hunting knife and Connor a small retractable blade and me I got a ... pen. Like Percy Jackson's pen just that my blade will be golden (Take reference to Percy's retractable ball point pen given to him by Chiron) They stared at me with a 'why is you holding a pen' well,  I uncapped the ball point pen and shoved it in their faces. "What's this huh? Still a pen?" I glared at them, "Where you got all those stuff from eh Saito?" Atachi asked examining the silver blade under the light.

"Well... I stole it from my father's soldier camp and when he found out he marched to me demanding an explanation so I said its for self-defence because I am a lady," They nodded at me with a look, I looked out of the door and checked for any people I then took out my phone and dialled my dad and I had to speak in rabid Japanese for the situation, "Watashi ga haitte iru gakko ni wa tero kogeki ga ari, karera wa watshi ga sudeni iru kai o hanaremashita," (Translation: The school I am in is facing a terroist attack, they left the floor I am at) My dad whispered the instructions to escape and I told him we couldn't it was locked and if we escape they would find us. 

Daichi, Connor and Atachi and I huddled together and I told them my father's plan, "we have to kill one of them that holds the map of our school because he holds the key to us leaving the school and then if worst comes to worst we have to use the secret tunnels that are listed in here in case of an attack, Understood?" I spoke to them with authority, they nodded their heads and we started to move to find the guy with the map. 

When I heard a small sound, the sound of multiple keys hitting each other, I looked around me and gestured to them and we ran to the classroom and ducked under the walls closing the binds silently to prevent them from seeing us, we looked out of the classroom and saw the guy walking past us holding on to a map. I used my hand pointed outside and made handsigns saying the target passed this area.  They nodded as they got my idea and were about to come out when a large group of terroists walked past the class. 

Some of them pointing guns towards the class we were in and scanning around the area to kill off people in this building. I used my hand and signalled a back motion and they hid retracted their foot back to where they are supposed to be. I looked out of the window and ducked down when a last terroist walked towards this area. I slid to them camouflage cloths and they cover themselves with it . The terroist looked around the classroom and walked off with the groups .
