9. Lighthouse

-How can you not have packed yet? – Veronica almost screamed in despair when Reggie asked to borrow a suitcase

The boy simply shrugged and she snorted.

Cheryl, Reggie, Toni, Sweet Pea and Veronica had finished their tests and were waiting for the others.

They would go to be beach tomorrow morning.

-When she finished packing she literally came over to my trailer and started packing my things – sweet pea said and they all laughed

Veronica grunted again and crossed her arms pouting like a kid.

-I just want things to go perfectly; I'm really looking forward this weekend with all of you -

-It will be babe, but you have to relax a little or you won't even enjoy it – the tall serpent said and kissed her cheek but she was still anxious

-I'll relax when I get into the sea -

-You know I don't like to agree with Sweet Pea but he's right Ronnie – Cheryl spoke – You should relax, not even I am this worried and I have reasons to be -

Veronica and Reggie were the only ones who understood what the girl had said, even though they saw each other every day and had actually become friends the serpents still didn't know all that much about the red haired past.

When veronica was about to make apologies to the girl, the three boys entered the room saying how awful they thought they went on the test.

After discussing the subject for a bit longer they decided to head home and finish packing, Cheryl said she could land Reggie a suitcase from when she was younger if he didn't mind the color pink and the princesses on it.

He refused it, saying, "I'm the only princesses that bus will see" she rolled her eyes at the boy and Jason land him a smaller black one.

The morning came and six AM veronica was calling everyone so they would wake up and get ready to go to the school, except the bus would only leave at 9 AM.

Needless to say that Cheryl was in a bad mood, for waking up early and having to share one vehicle with her entire class, she didn't like half of it and the other half she didn't bother to know the names.

-Why, why did I agree with this? – She asked winning to veronica when she arrived

-Because it will be fun! – She said excited but the other just huffed

-Super fun – she said again looking at the other people arriving

Archie, Valerie, Josie and Chuck.

Veronica turned around to look and her happiness disappeared.

-I'm sorry I couldn't make them back out, especially her...

-it's fine, we made these plans a long time ago – she turned to look at veronica again – I'll just have to do what I do best and ignore her -

Veronica gave her a side-hug right when the rest of the crew arrived with Kevin's dad.

The sheriff was passing some last minute notes to them like "don't forget to use sunscreen and if anybody feels car sick, there is an entire drugstore on Kevin's bag"

They laughed and his son rolled his eyes for the overprotection but gave his dad a hug before he went to work.

The ride was full of laugh and pranks on Reggie, who fell asleep next to Toni, they did the classics like join his eyebrows with a marker and wrap him with toilet paper from the bus, they filmed the whole process and showed to him later.
