this one is extremely sad.
Anxious animals awaited the stork to bring them their bundles of joy. Soon, little precious cargo was being delivered to the circus animals, who welcomed their babies happily. Ms. Jumbo waited anxiously, keeping her eyes towards the skies for her little bundle to arrive, but it never came.
As they loaded the train to head to another city, her heart broke. She just knew she was supposed to have a baby to love and since she didn't receive one, it hurt her heart. The elephants were all together in their cart and talking happily, but their conversations were about Mrs. Jumbo and the gossip that now surrounded the poor elephant.
A lone stork, carrying a heavy bundle, lost his way. The place he was supposed to be was now empty. He pulled out his map and studied it carefully. "Ah there you are," he muttered as he folded his map and put it away. He lifted the bundle and stuck it into his mouth before flying towards the train.
He rested on top of the train and wiped his brow. "Mrs. Jumbo! Oh Mrs. Jumbo," he called as he walked along the top of the train.
Out of a cart, several trunks popped up and waved him over. "Yoohoo, in here," the elephants called to him.
He sighed in relief and floated in with the tiny bundle. "Which one of you is Mrs. Jumbo," he asked the elephants.
They all laughed and shook their heads. "Oh heavens no. That's her," one said as they pointed to a lone elephant in a corner.
Mrs. Jumbo smiled shyly and waved with her trunk. "I'm Mrs. Jumbo," she said softly.
The stork nodded and brought her bundle over. "For you madame," he said as he opened the bag to reveal a tiny baby elephant.
"Aw isn't he adorable," one elephant said in admiration.
"What's his name," the stork asked as he got his harmonica ready.
"Jumbo Jr," Mrs. Jumbo announced proudly.
The stork nodded and sang happy birthday to the little elephant then flew off. Mrs. Jumbo smiled proudly as the elephants cooed at her little baby. One took her trunk and tickled the little elephants face, causing him to sneeze.
The elephants all stared at the tiny elephant in shock. His ears were exposed and they were the size of his tiny body. They all began to laugh at the tiny elephant and called him Dumbo. Mrs. Jumbo slammed their box closed in their faces and swaddled Dumbo with his ears then she rocked him to sleep in her trunk. She loved her beautiful baby, regardless of his imperfections.
The train made it's next stop. The animals were forced to work in a thunderstorm to get the circus set up for the next day. Dumbo worked beside his mother and hid behind her every time lightning lit up the sky or thunder would rumble loudly.
Finally the tents were up and Mrs. Jumbo was able to rest with her baby. The next day arrived as did the masses of people. Everyone hurried in to see the new baby animals. A group of kids rushed over to Mrs. Jumbo and searched for Dumbo. When the saw him however, they began laughing and making fun of him because of his ears. Mrs. Jumbo was upset by this and tried to get Dumbo away. He thought they were playing with him and he was close trying to play back. So when Mrs. Jumbo tried to get Dumbo away, one of the kids grabbed Dumbo's ears and began yanking on them. Dumbo squeaked in pain, causing his mother to go into a fit of rage. She picked up the boy with her trunk and shook him violently.
The boy screamed as the angered elephant shook him more. The ringmaster ran over and began to whip her, until she dropped the boy. Mrs. Jumbo was then restrained and hauled away to be put down. There was no way that they could keep a mad elephant with their circus.
That night, Dumbo was brought to his mother's cell to say goodbye. She cradled him in her trunk and rocked him slowly knowing she would never see her precious baby ever again. Soon the ringmaster was leading Dumbo away from his mother and back to where the other elephants were.
Without his mother's protection, the other elephants were very mean to Dumbo and forced him to do work that he couldn't handle. The ringmaster made him the star attraction, where everyone would stare at him and taunt him for his big ears.
Dumbo was heartbroken and one night, he decided to run away from the circus. He ran into a mouse named Timothy on his adventure. Timothy clung to Dumbo, he saw those ears as money and nothing more. "We'll make you famous kid," the mouse said with a grin. Soon he would have all the cheese in the world!
"What can we do with those ears though," Timothy wondered aloud.
Dumbo shrugged sadly and wiped his tears with his trunk. "Say, with big ol' ears like that, I think he could fly," a crow mocked, causing his friends to laugh hysterically.
Timothy glared at the birds for a minute and then looked at Dumbo. That wasn't a bad idea! "Dumbo! What if you can fly," Timothy exclaimed happily, causing the crows to crack up even more.
"Ya hear that! A flyin' elephant," the leader mocked.
"Well I have seen a horse fly," one said with a chuckle.
"And I've seen a house fly," another said, causing the group of birds to caw in fits of hysterics.
Timothy glared again, "Pay no attention to them Dumbo, I'm sure you can! You just have to flap those ears!" He scurried to one of the crows and plucked a tail feather from it and handed it to Dumbo. "Here's a lucky feather," he said as Dumbo took the feather and held into it tightly.
Timothy lead Dumbo up to a cliff and sat in his hat. "Remember what I said Dumbo, you need to flap your ears," he said as he looked down at the ground far below them.
Dumbo looked down too and got very dizzy. He gripped the feather tightly in his trunk and jumped off the cliff. "Flap Dumbo flap," Timothy yelled as the earth sped up to meet them.
Dumbo closed his eyes and began frantically flapping his ears. Timothy peeked through his fingers and laughed triumphantly. "You're doing it Dumbo! You're flying," he exclaimed as they flew past the crows. Dumbo beamed and flew back for the circus.
He landed in front of the ringmaster, who gawked at him. "A flying elephant," he exclaimed excitedly. Soon Dumbo was famous and known worldwide, no longer a freak, but he often missed his mother and would cry himself to sleep every night.
This one is meh. I am not a fan of this movie. But. here ya go.
