Forgive and forget

Michael's POV

I left Jamie outside to let her enjoy nature. She looked pretty depressed and I have no clue whats wrong. Me as her best friend and partner I should really know whats up, but right now I think she needs some space.

I looked through the slide doors to see her head cupped in her hands as she lyed on the grass. She looked sad, alone and beat down. I wish I could help her.

It was getting pretty late. It was already 10:00PM. I looked outside and Jamie was still there lying on the grass silently looking at the outcoming stars.

I couldn't watch this anymore. I walked over to her side and sat down beside her. "Jamie are you okay?" I asked her. When she looked up I could see the glistening tears in her eyes.

She started to cry instantly. I had a feeling that this was my fault. Was it really!!? "Jamie tell me whats wrong?" I asked her again.

""Michael there is nothing wrong *sobs* with me," she says getting on her butt. "Michael is there ever a time you just want to shut the world out?" she asked me. These words were I didn't want to hear them.

"I just wanna cry without anyone asking me whats wrong...or..or are you okay!? Well yes i'm God damn fine thank you!! I'm just surprised I lost my viginity already," she said quietly.

"Well you should've told me to stop before we even started," I replied coming closer to her.

"I'm sorry Mike, its just that this bad boy thing your doing.....its....its scaring me to death. Next thing I know your sleeping in Katylynn's bed and you start beating me. I don't want that to happen to me," she said.

"Jamie I would kill anyone who ever tries to hurt you, and why the hell would I wanna sleep with Katylynn when i've got you? She went through plastic surgery just to get your body. I love you to the moon and back."

All she did was hug me. "Can we just forget about all this? The kissing Katylynn, The party, the sex and right now?" she asked me.

"Do we reakly need to forget about the sex? I mean you should've heard your voice begging for more. Oh Mikeyy fuck meee!!" I said trying to mock Jamie. she gave me a mean glare and jumped on my back. I took her upstairs and flopped her onto the bed.

I saw her digging up my clothes. "Whoa there! What're you doing?" I asked looking at her. She took off the shirt I gave her after she went skinny dipping and threw it at my face. She was completely naked. She took one of my t-shearts and sweats and one of my fedora's. She put them on and walked to the bed.

"I've had a rough day. Lets try to forgive and forget," she said cuddling closer to me. She's never told anybody about her feelings.....but she told me. I want her to have the best birthday of her life. Ii know this is too early to say but I think a few years from now I want to marry her. We've known eachother for YEARS. So everything will go exactly as planned. But Katylynn......damn I gotta figure out a way for her to leave me alone.
