Ch.41

Lilly's POV

I woke up early (as usual) and checked on Nolan. He wasn't in bed....odd. I checked Jamie's room to see them both lying there. Oh no....she couldn't.......she wouldn't.

I quickly ran over to them and shook Jamie trying to wake her up. She opened her eyes and glared at me.

"What?" She asked. I pointed to the sleeping Nolan and she slapped her hand over her mouth. I grabbed her and walked out the door shutting it silently.

"You've been here for not even a week and you already started sleeping with other people? Not even that, but my brother!? I yelled. She looked all over the place and placed her hand on her forehead.

" I don't know...... I just went to check on him, we started talking then somehow he ended up here," she said.

"What did you guys do, any activities.... Any at all?" I ask.

"I.....I don't think so...," she said in an unsure tone.

"Oh my gosh, Jamie what do you mean by you don't think so!? You must have some idea of what went down!"

"You'll have to ask him.....I'm sure we didn't do anything wrong."

I open up the door and shook Nolan. He squirmed, but finally he woke up.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"I wanna know what you were doing in bed with Jamie!!" I scream. He got up and walked around me.

"Chill.....girl calm we didn't do anything bad, geez. I just wanted to stay with her is that so wrong?"

"Yes!! It is wrong, it is a hundred percent wrong!! Do you realize that she has a man?"

"No she doesn't.... She's single....at least that's what I think."

"You idiot!! That man you saw yesterday was her man!! Ugh! Look what you've done!"

"Its no big deal, all I did was sleep with her, not in a 'I want you way' just in a 'I feel lonely can I stay with you way'."

"Oh my gosh! I'm going to kill you!! Why would you sleep with her in the first place!? You have your own darn bed and room!!"

"Look, I wanted to get to know her that's all. Your right sleeping with her wasn't the best thing to do but I already did it so accept that fact."

He brushed me aside and walked downstairs. Jamie walked in and started crying. I walked over to her and tried to comfort her.

"I feel like a cheater. I'm so stupid, why did I even allow him to sleep with me?" She weeps.

"Your just too nice to say no I guess.....you realize you can't tell Michael right?" I say.

"Why not?"

"Sometimes the truth hurts more than the lies. You have to keep this a secret, don't tell Michael understood?"

"Yeah....sure."

She let go and walked downstairs to the living room. Dang it, what did she get herself into now?

Jeffrey's POV

After that day I haven't seen or heard from Echo. She was a beautiful girl in my seeing and doesn't deserve to be treated the way that guy does. I walk by a nearby park and see that red hair, that petit body and that cure face. Her freckles stood out loud and proud. No way........it was Echo. Echo....what a unique name. I walked pass her and tried to forget it. Just ten I felt a small hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see her standing in front of me. Turns out she was asking for directions. When I walked away she called back.

"Aren't you the guy who returned my book?" She asked. I nodded.

"Look I'm sorry for what I said, its just that the way how my boyfriend treats me gets to me all the time," she explained. I smiled.

"No, its perfectly fine," I said giving her my widest smile. She giggled and smiled back at me. She's a keeper.

Michael's POV

I sat at the bar with three of my closest friends. They told me I don't get out much and I need some excitement in my life. They do the craziest thing.

"So Mike! Any new girls lately?" Derrick asked me drinking his beer. I wonder what we're doing at a bar at three in the morning.

"Not really....I told you I'm already taken," I say leaning my fedora more on my head.

"Come on, don't tell me your still stuck up over that chick. Let her go Mike! She doesn't even know who you are!" Peter laughs.

"She just doesn't remember me....that's all," I sigh. They all look at me.

"Mike, you need to get laid," Tony chuckles getting up. What is he up to now? They push me up to my feet and bring me to a booth.

"Guys, if this is what I think it is, I will kill you!" I said sitting in the booth. A line of girls walk in wearing very little clothing. Oh geez.....

"Mike this is for your own good. Make some new friends," Peter says leaning against the wall.

"I swear....when this is over your all dead."

The girls line up one by one and start dancing on me. The first girl was Candy. She started grinding on me and doing all sorts of things. She took off my fedora and put it on her head laughing like a hyena. Maybe I should let myself loose once in a while. I took out a fifty dollar bill and tucked it in her underwear.

"Thanks sweet cheeks," she smiled and walked off.

There were girls pole dancing, and all sorts of stuff. I even took belly shots on some of them. When I was done I walked back over to my friends.

"Finally! Mike is stepping up the game! How does it feel to let loose once in a while?" Derrick questioned smiling from ear to ear.

"Damn......those girls are just something else.....I think I'm drunk from all those belly shots guys," I doze feeling light headed.

"Nonsense! You barely drank anything, drink some of this," Tony said handing me a small glass of a an unknown substance. I don't normally drink, so I don't even know what it is. Its morning outside, but in here its dark and all you can see it the dance lights. I drank what he had given me and it was bitter.

"Hey! Call the shots man, give me a tray more," Derrick said ordering more.

I literally drank a whole tray of that stuff and I don't feel good.

"Hey Mike, blondy over there seems to be checking you out, go say hi," Peter chuckled.

"Nah, *hiccups* I think I'm *hiccups* fine," I say trying to contain myself.

"No need for that, cause here she comes," they all laugh.
