Jamie's POV
I took his coat and umbrella with guilt overtaking me. I don't know what to do......I'm so confused.
"Do you want me to give you a lift home?" He asked.
"I would love that but my apartment is far from here and I can't remember where to turn," I explained. He nodded and continued to walk in the rain. Me feet were now frozen due to the cold rain and my busted shoes. Michael looked over at me and chuckled.
"Do you want me to carry you?" He asked.
"No...no please don't, I'm fine," I replied. Without another word he swooped me up into his arms and carried me. I looked at him in shock but he kept walking. I slowly leaned my head on he's chest, him shielding me from the rain. He's so strong.....yet beautiful. His tall figure is to die for and that smile, just melts me every time. I loved what used to be, but I guess there's a first time for everything. He reached to a car and slowly rested me in the back seat.
"Sit tight," he grinned getting in the front seat.

We drove for a long time then the car stopped. He opened the back door and took me back into his arms.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"My house," he replied walking up to the door. He put me down and took his key out. He opened the door and welcomed me in.
"Come on, don't be shy, go on in," he smiled. I walked inside and looked around. The place was a masterpiece. It looked so unique and fascinating. He walked me over to the couch and sat me down. He kneeled down in front of me and looked me in the eye. I got lost in his deep brown beautiful eyes.
"Is there anything I can get you?" He asked in a smooth voice. I looked down and slowly shook my head. He got up and walked upstairs, then later returned with a blanket. He wrapped it around me and lit the fire place. He then sat beside me and rested his hand on my shoulder sending shivers down my body.
"Why'd you get me this? You didn't have to," I said.
"I just had a feeling you were cold......its no big deal," he replied and sat down below on the carpet. He watched the fire blaze and kept on sighing. I got up and sat beside him.
"Michael what's wrong?" I asked looking at the fire.
"Its just that.....," he said with a tear escaping his eye.
"Just what?"
"Do you love me?" He asked looking me dead in the eye. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I looked down. Do I love him?
"Forget it," he choked out and went downstairs to the basement. I looked back at him and my heart seemed dull. I sat on the carpet now crying myself sobbing and weeping. Although there was the beat of rain and the loud clapping of thunder, I could hear screams coming from the basement. So this is what its like to live without someone you still love but know you can't have. It made me feel bad to see such a great person like this, but it was his mistake and he wanted to make it. I got up and wrapped the blanket around me tightly and walked down to the basement. I saw Michael sitting there alone in a dark corner crying his eyes out. I wiped my tears and sat beside him once more. I pulled the blanket over him and he looked up at me. I stared in his eyes and he stared back in mine. He leaned forward and kissed me again. I gave in and kissed back. I cupped his cheeks in my hand and he did the same. I pulled back and leaned on his chest. We might not be together, but this is worth it.
