I don't know what to say....my body is numb by his touch I can barely think straight. Should I? Or should I not? He looked at me with his dark brown beautiful eyes and waited patiently for my answer.
Well? Do you?" He asked taking my hand into his. I looked around wondering if I do or if I don't.
Just then the door opened and in walked Mac's girlfriend.
"Mac wanted me to...give.....this ......to.....you," she trailed. She saw Michael and dropped what she had.
"Michael Jackson!! Michael Jackson is in here!! Oh my gosh!! I have to tell everyone!!" She squealed taking her phone out. I grabbed it and smashed it on the floor.
Oops.... "
"Why'd you do that!?" She yelled. I pushed her out the door and hollered at Mac.
"Mac, can you please keep your nosy girlfriend out of my business and my space?"
I walked back in to see Michael still waiting for my answer.
"I will not stop trying until you give in. I will not stop until you forgive me. Please give me another chance, I can change," Michael said. That's what they all say.....
"Its not that I don't want to forgive you.....its just that I don't want to be hurt again."
"I swear, I can change just please let me in......please."
"Shouldn't you be somewhere?"
"You're trying to drive me away.....aren't you?"
"No...I was just-,"
"No, no, I get it. You can't trust me anymore, that's what it is. If its no, then its no. Yeah, you're right, I do have to be somewhere."
He walked out and shut the door slowly behind him. What have I done? I just wanted to get a new start then he comes into my life again? Ah crap. I ran my finger through my hair and sat at the table. I still love him....I really do....but what's holding me back from loving him? My anxiety? I don't know, but I will find out. Maybe I just need a walk.....to clear my mind...yeah. I grabbed my sneakers, my jacket and brushed passed the door. I left the building and the cold air hit me right there. This feels much better. I walked around for hours, thinking about the craziness that's been happening since the year started. This needs to stop.
