Ch.38

Jamie's POV

2 weeks later.....

Finally! Today is the day I get out of this place! I'm so happy I can conquer anything! Me and Lilly have plans to move in with each other. She said she owns a condo and a house but she left the house in her brothers care. I was planning on moving with her although I've only known her for a month, it feels like I've known her for years!

"Hey there stranger! I have the access to see Queen Elizabeth live!" Lilly yells. I laugh.

"Yeah, and I have permission to have tea with Obama," I joke. She giggled and walked over to me. I guess that's how we greet each other now.

"Enough with the jokes, come on you have a meeting with Dr. Morris," she said straightening herself. I nodded and waited for him to come.

"How's my sweetest patient!" Dr. Morris said walking in. I smiled and told him I was great.

"Put these on," Lilly said throwing me a Tweety bird shirt and a pair of washed out jeans. I put them on and pack the following clothes my relatives have left as gifts for me. She passed me a pair of converses and rolled my suitcase out to the office. When I got there she had signed me out and we were off to the parking lot. On our way there I saw that killer smile, that curly hair and that light toned complexion. Michael. I ran in the other direction towards him.

"Where ya going?" Lilly had asked but I ran. When Michael saw me he opened his arms and I gladly accepted. I wrapped my arms around him and he lifted me off my feet. He whirled me around as I dug my head in his neck. He smells good. He put me down.

"Jamie! Your looking quite stunning, what's the occasion?" He said looking at the red roses and chocolate in his hands. I looked at him with concern.

"Don't you know? Today is the day I leave the hospital, you were the first person I sent a note to," I replied holding his hand.

"I...I didn't get the note," he scratched the back of his head. By this time Lilly had caught up to me and waved at Michael.

"Come on, we gotta go," she said while walking away. I grabbed her back.

"Do you remember that note I gave you to mail?" I ask crossing my arms. She stared.

"Yeah, why?"

"May I see seen the note please?" I ask again.

"*reaches in pocket* You can't see it cause I-," she stopped and pulled out the note.

"Thanks for delivering my note," I say with sarcasm. She smiled.

"Oops."

I give Michael one last hug and tell him what had happened. He insisted on driving us there.

"Michael let me drive," Lilly begged.

"Can I see your drivers license?" He asked crossing his arms. Lilly reached into her pocket and pulled out a card.

"Boom," she said pushing the card in his face. Michael laughed so hard he nearly got knocked off his feet.

"Haha, is that a coupon for free yogurt!?" He laughed pointing at the card.

"Whatever, do you want it or not?" She rolled her eyes. Michael took it and she finally showed him her real license. He got into his car and I followed while Lilly drover her car in front of us. Me and Michael were sitting in the front seat in comfortable silence. After the first 20 minutes of driving, I wanted him to kiss me so badly. When we reached a stoplight, I turned my body to him.

"Michael, do you remember the......kiss?" I asked. A small smile formed on face while his cheeks turned bright red.

"Yeah, I do," he replied. I smile back. I lean in towards him and pull his head to me pressing my lips on his. He let go of the steering wheel and wrapped his arm around me. I pull away and kiss his cheek.

"I feel so lucky to have you. Your an angel," I whisper. He blushes.

"No, I'm not. I'm just a regular guy you fell in love with.....if you can remember," he sighed. I leaned my head on his shoulder while he drove off.

---------Later at Lilly's Place----------

Michael and Lilly unpacked the luggage as we walked into her house. A boy came out to greet us and I waved at him. He rolled his eyes and looked away......wow that was rude.

"Nolan, can you be nice for once!?" Lilly asked shooting him an angry look. "She'll be staying with us from now on and you better cut that out!" He faked a smile and walked up to me.

"Hi, My name is Nolan, I don't like you, stay out of my way and get lost," he said with a dead tone. I opened my eyes wide.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning," Michael whispered laughing a little. I punched his chest playfully.

"Is he always like this?" I ask Lilly. She sighed.

"I'm afraid so. When we were kids he used to be such an honorable boy. Now he's just a stuck up loser who is frantically, my brother."

He walked up the door opening it for me. I gladly walked but then he slammed the door in my face.

"Nolan!! Ass upstairs now!" Lilly screamed following him up the stairs.

Lilly's POV

When I reach upstairs I turn my brother around and stare at him.

"Dude!! What's up your ass!!?" I ask getting angry. "I bring one friend up in here and you already went World War III on her!!"

"Look, I just don't like her. I don't know why but I don't like her," he replies back.

Jordan's POV

Nolan walked back downstairs angrily. His dark brown hair covered on of his eyes. He had his hands in his pockets and was leaning against the door. He looked rather cute. Michael walked up to me and kissed my forehead. I hugged him and returned the kiss.

When I walked through the door Nolan whispered in my ear, "Stay out of my way."

I swallowed and brushed pass him. Something tells me this isn't going to be a good stay.
