I really didn't like cussing.

I didn't like apples either; a weird preference that was the result of a particularly traumatic apple-bobbing contest when I was eight. So when I was faced with deciding to eat what Cameron called, "The World's Greatest Fucking Apple Pie," I wasn't quite sure what to do.

"No thank you," I said politely, passing the plate along to Cameron who was sitting right next to me. "I'm not that hungry anymore."

Cameron sat there eagerly, and was completely ready to dig in when the plate was suddenly snatched from under his nose. "Not even a bite?" he asked, pouting slightly at me as he held it out.

"It's apple, right?", I asked.

"Yes."

"And what did you call it?", I questioned him, raising her eyebrows at him.

"The World's Greatest Fucking Apple Pie."

I wrinkled my nose, pushing the plate away once more. "No thank you", I answered politely.

"But why not?" Cameron whined.

"I'm not about to eat something that has the mention of... dirty business in its title.", I said, the title making me very uncomfortable.

A full blown smirk came across his face. Ever since he had met me , my "innocent disposition" highly amused him and he took great joy in ruining it, little by little. "Come on, don't be shy now. Say it."

I looked at him warily, and sighed. "Say what?"

"Sex."

I folded her arms over my chest, more like hugging myself than showing defiance, however. "Is it really necessary?"

"Yes."

"And how so?"

"Because I want you to," Cameron said, as if it was the most obvious answer in the world.

I rolled his eyes, tired of the useless banter - no matter how entertaining it had been. "Come on Cam, leave her alone, we all know Caroline is practically a nun", Nash added.

"You know she's too good to say it," Nash said, smirking at Caroline.

"Fine," Cameron sighed, putting the plate back down onto the table. The two were about to sigh in relief when he suddenly picked it up again. "But Caroline has to explain to me why the number sixty-nine is inappropriate to shout out randomly again."

"Cameron!"

Leaning on the wall opposite of where they were sitting, I watched in amusement at the three arguing, rolling his eyes often at Cameron's ridiculous suggestions. It was really nice, getting to know these new girls that Matt had invited. I really had missed talking to people out of the entertainment industry. Sure, i had friends back home, but that was the problem - they were back home. Madi and Caroline brought in a little piece of normal that all the boys and myself missed once in a while.

Madi and Caroline

After their first meeting, I couldn't get her face out of my mind. Her long curly brown hair and her pretty brown eyes seemed to follow me everywhere. It wasn't often that a girl would create such an impact on me.

And now that I was able to get to know her better, there were more things that stood out to me, such as the way she'd look away with a blush when she'd catch me staring at her. Or the way that she'd try and hold back laughs whenever Cameron made an inappropriate joke that she for once, actually understood.
