My mind wakes up before my eyes or body. I start thinking of all the fun I've had with Jason and Darian so far in the few days we've been here. Darian is so sweet and I've found out that act is indeed nothing more than an act. He has opened up his true self to me and we have already become great friends. Then I think about what today must have in store for us. I sit up fast and start rubbing my eyes. Jason comes out of the bathroom as he brushes his hair.
"So, you excited for today? I'm surprised you didn't wake up earlier," he says with a smirk. I jump up off the bed with a huge smile on my face.
"Holly shit! Today is the concert!" I say excitedly. He laughs as I grab my cloths and lock the bathroom door.

We walk out after the concert, both singing the last song sung. Jason grabs my hand from behind me and turns me to face him. We start dancing to the chorus and I twirl at the end.
"Shade, thank you for coming with me. I know this past week was probably annoying with Darian but..."
"Are you kidding me? This was one of the best weeks in a long time. I'm so excited for next time we come!" I say as I start running towards a park I spot across the street.
"Me too! But today was awesome huh?"
"Ya! I'm glad we both like them," I say as he begins pushing me on a swing.
"I'm glad I got to experience that and with you, " he says jumping out of the way then jumping back in front of me. I use to hate when he did that but now that I know he times it perfectly, I'm not worried I'm gonna hit him.
"What time is it? I'm hungry," I laugh as Jason begins making weird faces whenever in front of me.
"3:57. Let's have a picnic! We should claim this park before we go like the one at home!"

We get back home late at night. I'm sad that the week is over but excited to start another with Jason. I get a text and see it's just Darian making sure we got home safe. Jason walks me to my house, taking our time so we have every last minute together. The way the moon shines on his face reminds me of the night we met and right away my stomach fills with butterflies. It's nights like this I wish we were together but I'm extremely happy with our friendship. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I just hope, in the many years to come, our friendship stays strong. I look behind me slightly and see Jason looking down, rubbing his chest. I told him not to eat that tuna sandwich this late at night. It's his fault now that he has to suffer the heartburn.
"What are you some kind of killer and this is your plan or something," I joke like the first time. He looks up at me with a huge smile.
"Of course not. It's just, your eyes," he recalls. I begin laughing and reach for the handle of my door.
