I know everything that is happening around me. The next day, Kayton got a job. In a month, my mom gave Kayton money and packed everything I own. Kayton bought a house about a three hour drive away and moved us there. He unpacked all of my stuff and has worked hard every day in a job I know he hates but pays well. He is constantly in pain but always is brushing it off. I'm home alone everyday from 7am to 10pm. I know all this is happening but I don't. I can't feel it. I can't hear it. I can't comprehend it. My phone is constantly blowing up with messages from Kayla and Darian but I turn it completely off as I walk to the kitchen with a pen and a huge binder of paper. I open the paper I keep in my pocket. It's the first time I open it and my heart melts as I see Jason's handwriting.

It's the song. He leaves space for my parts and a spot at the end in brackets they say
(You are the ending of my story so you should write the ending to our song)
I write in my parts and read the song over.

Angel In The Sky

Intro: Did it hurt when you fell from heaven
Or did you glide through the sky?
You look great, twenty-four seven,
It only took one look, for you to catch my eye.
Virse 1: I was just a stranger, yet you were so kind.
This beauty inside you is oversupplied.
I knew then , my heart was assigned.
I wish all your beauty was world wide.
Precious: From the things we eat
To the trees we climb.
From the drums we beat
To the birds that fly.
Chorus: Angel in the sky, don't let go.
Angel in the sky, why are you going slow?
We dance around the fact
And it keeps coming back.
Vers 2: We dance around to any music that plays.
We run up and down the streets, yet we're always late.
You take me through the paths, I, swear, we're, in, a, maze
You, are, more, than, a, mate
Precious: From the things we eat
To the trees we climb.
From the drums we beat
To the birds that fly.
Chorus: Angel in the sky, don't let go.
Angel in the sky, why are you going slow?
We dance around the fact
And it keeps coming back.
(You are the ending of my story so you should write the ending to our song)
Bridge: Oh my angel, please, don't, cry.
Oh my angel, please, don't, die.
I'll stay with you, just close your eyes.
I'll stay with you, I'll be here with you.
I send all my prayers, above the sky.
But when I look down, there's no light, in your eyes.
Chorus: Angel in the sky, don't let go.
Angel in the sky, why are you going slow?
We dance around the fact
And it keeps coming back.
My angel in the sky.

I remember when writing the chorus I was meaning our relationship. He kept seeming like he liked me but then didn't. Tears well up in my eyes again.
"I'm so sorry for everything Kayton. I never meant for your life to get messed up just because I was born. I'm sorry I got you so sick from depression. I'm sorry for being me. And Jason, I love you too," I wail.

So that's my secret. And now here I am with my story in one hand, and a knife in the other.
