Birthdays and more missions

Issaquah's POV

I woke up to Kimberly's side of the bed cold. I sat up and looked everywhere and still couldn't find the brown haired, green eyed and bright smiled girl. I got out of bed in my shorts and walked downstairs after checking for my whole family and not finding them and on my 19th birthday.

I entered the kitchen and couldn't see anything from how dark it was. We seriously need to keep those windows opened instead of blocking out the light in the mornings.

I took two steps into the kitchen and that's when the lights flew on and everyone jumped out yelling "happy birthday" with presents.

I just looked at them then walked out. I don't like my birthday. Never have and never will. I used to until something happened that I won't forget. It was mine and Lisa's 7th birthday when it happened. There was a kid before Kaylee. His name is Jake and he was Austin's twin brother. I was close to both of them but then he went missing and I never got over it. Austin claims that his brother is still alive but I don't know.

I walked up to my room and sat on my couch. I flipped through movies until I picked Just Before I Go. I was watching it until Lisa came in.

"What?"

"We threw that because of a gift we found last night. I think you'll like it."

I sighed and got up and followed her out with a white shirt on. She led me outside and pointed in front of me.

"It's just Austin."

"Nuh uh I'm right here."

But Austin was behind me. So that meant.

"Miss me Issac?"

I ran over and tackled him into a hug with tears in my eyes.

"Where have you been Jake?"

"I was in Nebraska with my grandparents. Trust me I wanted to call and tell you I was okay but I couldn't."

"I missed you so much."

"The Three Troublemakers are are back. It's no longer the danger duo."

I laughed and turned to see everyone standing there with smiles. My eyes landed on Kimberly who's eyes never left me once. I waved her over and smiled. She walked over and I wrapped my arm around her.

"So how much did I miss?"

"A lot."

"Yeah. Issac went to the hospital like mum and dad told you and he has gone through a lot of girls until he met Kimberly. She is his longest relationship and his first."

"Shut the hell up Austin."

"Sorry but it's true."

I rolled my eyes and looked over at Jake who was confused.

"Who is Kimberly? Where is she?"

"She's right here Jake."

He looked over at me and I motioned to her with my head.

"I'm Jake. Austin's twin brother."

"Kimberly. I'm Issac's girlfriend."

"Issac, she's really nice. I like her already."

"That's why she's mine."

"I noticed. So where did you find get?"

"In California. I went there to clear my head and she walked into my life."

"That's good to hear."

"Yeah tell me about it."

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist.
