Issaquah's POV
I put my suitcase in the back of the car next to Jake's who was saying by to his girl. I walked over and placed a soft kiss on Kimberly's lips. I hated leaving her behind. It hurt knowing I couldn't be there for her when she needed it.
"Issac, Jake, be careful on this mission. You should be back in a couple months."
"Unless we finish earlier than planned."
"I don't know when it will be over but be careful."
"We always are dad."
"I know but these people are dangerous."
"And we are twenty times worse than they are. They won't stand a chance."
He laughed and nodded. I got in the car after giving Kimberly one more kiss. I sighed and started off to the destination. I hated the fact that in a couple weeks it will be Kimberly's birthday and I'll miss it.
"Issac, pull over. You're distracted and it's not a good thing. Let me drive."
I nodded and did what he said. I got out and got in the passenger seat and buckled up. Jake pulled out. And continued the drive. Soon enough I got tired and fell asleep.

Jake's POVI was worried about how this mission would go. From what Austin has told me, he doesn't do well with being away from Kimberly. He told me how when he met her she was abused. I felt bad for my cousin. In all honesty he said the mission they went on it took him two hours just to eat half of what he got. All he did was drink apple juice.
He was asleep in the seat next to me with his hair messed up. I had him pull over since he looked like he was extremely distracted. I get worried about my cousin when this kind of stuff happens. He is always worried about the people he loves when they get hurt or anything. I've never seen him this distracted, especially over a girl.
I pulled over at a gas station to get a snack and use the bathroom. I decided to get Issaquah a snack with a couple bottles of apple juice for him. The people were a bit sketchy but I shrugged it off. When I got to the car I looked at the people we were trying to wipe out and groaned. They were still a while away. I took a drink of coffee and switched the channel in the car from classical music to something different.
I watched as motorcycle passed us. I sighed and took a bite from a chip. I heard movement from beside me telling me Issaquah is awake.
"There's some food and apple juice in the bag at your feet if you want some."
"I'm not hungry."
"That's a bunch of bullshit. I've known you since birth and I know you are hungry."
"I'm seriously not hungry."
"So help me Issaquah Rick I will call up Kimberly and tell her that you aren't eating right."
"See if I care."
I sighed and called Kimberly on FaceTime showing him I wasn't joking. He shrugged and took a drink of apple juice.
"Why are you calling Jake? Is Issac okay?"
"We are fine unless you count Issaquah not eating as okay."
"Put him on the phone."
"Gladly."
I handed the phone over to Issac and smirked. He glared and flipped me off before taking the phone.
"Yes princess."
"You need to eat Issac."
"I'm not hungry."
