Wait What?!

Issaquah's POV

I woke up to soft snores that were right next to my ear. I looked down and saw Kimberly sound asleep. Then she shot up and ran to the bathroom. She emptied her stomach as I walked in yawning and held her hair back.

I yawned again and looked at the time and sighed.  Five in the morning. I yawned again and watched as Kimberly stood up and brushed her teeth.

"You have been doing this for weeks now. You don't think you're-"

"Don't finish that sentence."

"But you've been throwing up for two weeks now."

"It isn't the first time. It happened when I was little. I could have the stomach flu."

"You have a point. I don't know, maybe I'm just super worried."

"I know Issaquah. I'm fine."

She placed a soft kiss on my lips and ran her hands through my already messy hair. She pulled away and looked down at me.

"Come on. We're going to bed."

I nodded sleepily and followed her to bed. She laid down and pulled me to her. It's been a couple years since people have attempted to take Kimberly. I already have my own house and everything.

Kimberly and I aren't married yet but that's the plan for today. Once Kimberly was asleep again I got up and got dressed in a nice outfit. I set the note I wrote her last night on my pillow and walked out. I went down to my car and got in before leaving to see my sister and Dean.

"Come on in Issac. We are just about to have breakfast."

"Thanks Lisa."

I walked in and set my coat on the chair and was hugged by my nephew. I smiled and hugged him back before heading into the kitchen.

"Why dressed so nice?"

"How the hell did you forget Dean?"

"Oh. You're going to ask Kimberly to marry you."

"Yeah. So where did you put the ring?" I said as I held my hand out.

"Right here big bro." Alisa said as she put the box in my hand and kissed my cheek.

"Thanks little sis. Now I need you to go get Kimberly ready for tonight. Dean, we are going to watch your kid."

"Sounds good."

"Uncle Issac. Dad. Wake up."

We woke up with a start and looked over at my nephew and then we looked behind him to see Alisa and Kimberly. I looked at my clothes and was shocked when there wasn't a single wrinkle.

"So you have been asleep for the past five hours?"

"Kimberly, you know I've been working late to get caught up so I can spend more time with you. Of course I'm tired. I didn't mean too fall asleep."

She looked at me with a stern look then at Dean.

"I swear he was asleep when we were. Besides, he didn't do anything wrong."

"I guess you have a point."

I got up and walked over to Kimberly with a small smile.

"We have a date we are going on."

She nodded and let me lead her out. I said bye to everyone before letting her into my car. I walked over to my side and got in. I backed out of the drive and drove towards the restaurant. The ride was filled with a comfortable silence. I glanced at Kimberly real fast and then looked back at the road. I grabbed the auxiliary cord and handed it to her. She looked at me with a confused look before comprehending what was happening.

She took the cord and turned on here favorite song. It wasn't my favorite one but I was going to have to be okay with it. It didn't take long for me to get to the restaurant. It was 7:00 and I saw most of the gang there.

We got out and went in where I was led to a table in less than 5 minutes. We sat down and ordered our drinks. While we waited for the waiter to come back so we could order our food we talked and joked around. I watched as Kimberly talked about her classes for college that she takes online and how well she was doing. Her eyes lit up in a different way and her excitement was different for every subject she talked about.

The waiter came back and we ordered our food and he walked off. I cont8nued to listen to Kimberly until 8 felt like it was the right time. I got up and pulled the ring out of my pocket and kneeled down on one knee in front of her.  Her eyes widened but she just stayed silent.

"Kimberly, I'm no good at speeches or wording things correctly but you are worth the shot. The day you ran into the pizza parlor with a worried look was the day I knew I needed you in my life. You started out as a girl just working in a pizza parlor then you became the most important person in my world. You have been there through all of my bad and good days. Even though there were times I've made you cry and made you feel like you didn't matter you still stayed. We've been through hell and back many times but it never changed how I feel about you."

I sighed and looed her in the eye with a hopeful glint in my eyes.

"Will you make me the happiest man in the universe and marry me?"

She wiped her eyes before nodding her head yes. I smiled and got up and slipped the ring on her finger. I pulled her up and gave her a long love filled kiss. Everyone clapped and cheered. I heard Dean's voice and saw him cheering very loud. I shook my head at him but looked down at Kimberly.

"I love you so much Princess."

"I love you too Issaquah."

We sat down just as our food came. I couldn't wipe the smiled on my face. I couldn't believe that the amazing girl in front of me agreed to  marry me.
