Music played through her ears. It was times like this Faith Mikaelson could relax. She starred at the ceiling, thoughts running through her head like a race to see which one could bother her more. The music blocked this out, though it could only work for so long. One of her worst memories had found its way through the race, and above the music.
The same song played that night. She took off her bracelet, after securing the door closed. Hope had still been in the library reading, so Faith knew she wouldn't be back soon.
The salt slipped through her fingers so she could build a circle to secure the spell she was about to perform. Mixing the ingredients, Faith rolled up her sleeves, flicked her fingers to enlighten the candles, and began the incantation.
Instead of finding her father laying on a bed drinking a bourbon, Faith found him ripping the life from another. "Dad!" She called across to him.
At first, Klaus looked horrified. His daughter had seen him for what he truly was. His mechanism for this turned into anger, or just the facade of anger. "Get out!" He forcefully told her.

Putting everything away at a sloth like pace, Faith thought of what her father had done. A knock at her door startled her thoughts. She unlocked the door before sitting on the edge of her bed.
Hope came in, and started speaking about her newest find in the library but cut herself off when she saw her sisters disengaged expression. "Faith, what happened?" She asked.
"Nothing. Nothing at all."
The memory had found its way into Faiths head, until she saw her favorite flower beginning to die. Her first thought was, 'Are you kidding me?' Until she realized what this meant. Her father was down stairs speaking with her Aunt Freya.
Racing down the steps, Faith willed herself not to slow down. She knew she could and she would still being going fast, but desperately wanted, no needed, to see her father.
Hope had also seen her own plant die, causing her to race after Faith. Even though it had only been two months since Hope had spoken to him, she did miss Klaus. Hope would never understand how much pain Faith was in, but she wanted to make it up to her.
Klaus had heard his daughters rushing down the steps. Before Freya could finish or the girls could enter, he fled the room. "Dad?" Faith called, Hope right behind her.
Freya looked at her with pity. She knew that the young girl missed her father. Before either of the Mikaelson women could comfort her, Faith pushed past her sister to storm to her room, not before grabbing a bottle of the shelf that would be finished by morning, while giving her an awful headache in its wake.

When Hope was getting her visit from Roman, Faith was in bed as her head pounded. A loud knock on the door, made her groan and pull her blanket over her head. "Go away!" She yelled.
"Why would I do that?" The voice asked. This voice belonged to the girls best friend, Rudy Lorenzo Bennett.
Rudy was the son of Bonnie Bennett and some one night stand. Bonnie likes to think of him as her little miracle. She wanted children, but with everything going on at the time it was hard. Rudy was named after her father. She couldn't come up with a middle name at the time, but after losing a bet with Enzo she was forced to make his middle name Lorenzo, something she would never regret.
