*Kay's POV*

Today was Monday.

Meaning the boys and Mahogany's first day of school this year. It was a bit funny hearing how they were nervous yesterday.

Lexi, Jack, Johnson, Aliaya, Carter, Milgely, Mikey, Brent, Kenzie, Cam, Nash and Paloma, since I couldn't just ignore the fact Johnson really misses her, all came over after Shawn and I made a huge mess making cupcakes. I haven't forgiven Paloma but Johnson practically I begged me and wasn't gonna stop till I gave in. Since I invited her I decided to at least invite the others but they didn't want to come. So whatever.

Then also the perfect couple or as Shawn calls them, Jox, were over at Jacob's so we told then we'll have another meetup soon. But yesterday was still fun, a bit awkward but once Shawn and Mikey convinced me to show the ultrasounds everyone was just getting along. Funny how tw-....one baby can make a difference. I still haven't told them how it's a twin I lost.

Anyways, it was a bit cold today but I mean winter is coming up soon. So I decided to wear my black tank top with my red cropped hoodie and my dark blue jeans with my grey converse. I curled the ends of my hair then grabbed my bag and headed downstairs seeing a note from my mom.

'Dear Kay,

Ash had to be at school early since I needed to talk to the principle. I wasn't able to make breakfast but there's some pop-tarts and waffles left. So just have one of those. Oh I also work late tonight so Ash is staying over Daisy's house. So the house is yours unless you go out then please make sure you lock up the house. Hope you have a good day at school.

I sighed tossing the note into the trash. I really couldn't be bothered with this right now. I made two packets of pop-tarts and double checked my bag making sure I had everything. Then I leaned against the counter and looked down at my stomach. "Ready for another day at school?"

Yes, I know the baby can't even kick yet. But might as well talk to someone.

Soon the pop-tarts were done. I grabbed them and wrapped them in a napkin before picking up my bag and grabbing the house keys walking out. I made sure the door was locked before I started to head to school.

Instead of taking my usual route, I took a shortcut. It was a little path in the woods that was just very beautiful. Probably a place I'll be taking this little one to for walks since it's so calming.

The pop-tarts were gone by the time I was at school. Some reason I was eating really slowly but my mind shrugged it off. It was ten minutes before class and I saw my lovely friends in a group. As I approached them, I decided to stand next to Mikey and Mahogany getting a look from Shawn, Lexi, and Johnson.

"Hey guys, whatcha talking bout?" I asked.

"Freaking out cause it's our first day back at school," Nash replied as some of us chuckled. Some meaning Mikey, Lexi, Johnson, Paloma, Aliaya, Kenzie, Milgely, and I. They can perform infront of a bunch of people but can't get through their first day of school?

"You guys will be fine don't worry," Kenzie reassured them.

Then I said, "Plus, there's no reason to be nervous. And this is coming from a pregnant sophomore who practically is cautious of everything now."
