Chapter 31

Who likes Baileys promise ring from Jax? I do!!

    Bailey:

I slipped on my light blue ripped skinny jeans that are ripped from my thighs to my shins and pulled on my low cut camisole and my long sleeved fish net shirt over that and my white adidas and left my hair in waves before grabbing my keys and phone and heading out the door. Last night was perfect and I didn't want to leave but since we have school today we had to cut it by 10:30, which fucking sucked because I wanted to stay with Jax for longer but no, of fucking course not! I bounded downstairs and opened the door to find Jax standing there, ready to knock.

"Why do you always do that? It's like every time I try to surprise you your already opening the damn door, why do you do this to me?" I rolled my eyes as I shut the door behind me and tippy toed, kissing his cheek.

     "No idea...let's go, lover boy." Jax smiled as he draped his arm around my shoulders and guided me to his mustang. Jax helped me in before shutting my door and going over to his side, getting in and starting the car before driving off to hell. Yep, you heard me right...School I'd hell so whoever likes school can go suck it if they don't like it. Jax quickly drove into the school parking lot and parked. Jax got out and opened my door, holding his hand out for me to take, which I gladly took and shut the door behind me as Jax wrapped him arm around my waist, pulling me closer. Once we got inside we went to our lockers to get our binders for first period. I opened my locker door and grabbed my binder as Gwen came up to me, throwing her arms around me and squealing in my ear.

"Whoa...Gwen you're going to bust my eardrum p! Calm down woman!" I shut my locker door and leaned against it as she jumped up and down, squealing like a little kid on Christmas Day or their birthday.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy!" Gwen sang as she twirled and grinned like an idiot.

"Mind telling me why?" I cocked an eyebrow at her as she nodded and giggled. What the hell is up with her?

"Brady fucking kissed me! Last night and it was fucking amazing! He's such a good kisser it's unreal! I'm so happy!" Gwen twirled again.

"Oh my God! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you, Gwen." I smiled as she bounced around.

"Thank you! Well I have to go! Bye!" Gwen skipped away, who fucking skips to the damn classroom? I shook my head as Jax snaked his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind and grabbing my left hand and sliding something on it. Once Jax let go I looked down at my ring finger and saw the most beautiful ring on my small finger I have ever see, it's gorgeous.

"Oh my God," I breathed as I stared at it, "where'd you get it? What type of ring is it? Wait...why'd you get me a ring?" I turned around to face him as he grinned.

"Well...it was my grandmother's, it's a promise ring." Jax draped his arm around my shoulders as we began to walk to our class.

"But why did you give it to me?" I asked as I sat down, turning around to face Jax.

"Because I sort of made a promise...about you and me, about us." Jax smiled as he caresses my ha d with his thumb.

"And what is that?" I raised my eyebrows at him as a small smile tugged on his lips.

"I realized something last night... I realized that I love you and always have, ever since I laid eyes on you. So I promised that I would always love you and never stop loving you." Jax stared into my eyes as my jaw dropped and the teacher walked in and began class, saved by the teacher!

The day droned on and on, which took forever, with nothing interesting happening other than the fact that Jax gave me a fucking promise ring and basically said that he fucking loved me! Oh my God! Just thinking about it makes my heart rate hitch and my breath is ragged as if I just ran a damn marathon, my hands are sweaty and I can't control anything that's going on with my fucking body! I need serious help! I shut my locker door as Jax draped his arm around my shoulders and guided me towards the lunch room, where our friends were waiting for us, great... Thayer going to be asking about the ring, damn it! Shit! Fuck! Help.

"Hey guys,what's up?" I was getting ready to sit down but Jax picked me up and sat me on his lap, grinning like a fucking retard. It's cute though, I'll have to admit.

"Nothing really, just talking about- oh my! Where'd you get that ring? Who'd you get it from?! Tell us woman!" Kay said as she yanked my hand and examined my ring.

    "Who else would give me a ring?" I asked as I looked at Jax who smirked and kissed my nose before I faced everyone again.

    "What the fuck?! And you didn't fucking tell us? Who the hell even are you?!" Gwen threw her hands up as she too examined my ring, gushing over haw gorgeous it is.

"Sorry...I was busy doing school work," I shrugged as Gwen and Kay looked at me and we all burst out laughing, "ah, that's a funny joke." I acted like I wiped a tear away as I placed my hand on my chest, probably being over dramatic but hey...who cares?

"No but seriously...why didn't you tell us?" Gwen asked as she sobered up.

"Last time I checked we don't have any classes together." I said in a duh tone as I rolled my eyes.

"Right...forgot. Anyways, so do you want to got to our diner after school...or now?" Gwen asked as she let go of my hand.

    "Why not? I don't want to be home when my mom gets home...she'll want me to do something and I don't want to do anything for her." I shook my head as Gwen smiled.

     "Good, because I need you to come home with me afterwards...it's important, and Kay you're coming too." Gwen said looking between the both of us.

    "Okay, let's go then." Kay stood up as Gwen stood up, leaving me to stand up too. I stood up and kissed Jax before leaving with the girls, heading to Gwen's car. Gwen started the car and pulled out of the parking lot and drove straight to her house instead of going to the diner.

"I need your help with something, no time to go to the diner,"Gwen explained as she sped up and turned on the corner and pulled into her driveway and shut her car off as we all got out and ran upstairs to her room, where she shut the door and locked it, "Brady asked me out on a date, the date is this this Friday and I need your girls's help for my outfit because I like to plan ahead so I won't freak out and have a panic attack, that would be terrible. So please help me?" Gwen pleaded as me and Kay looked at each other and at her.

"Of course we're going to help you Gwen, it's your first fucking date! Okay let's get started." I flung her closet door open and rummaged through her clothes on the left side while Kay rummaged through her clothes on the right. I found a champagne colored strapless body-con dress and turned around to Kay and held it up as she turned around with a white floral dress with diamonds on the waist band.

"Nah." We said in unison as we hung them back up and kept looking through the dresses.

"Gwen, why do you have so many dresses?" I asked as I shook my head at a really short white dress that showed some skin on the sides and a plunging neckline.

"I love dresses, no judging." Gwen crossed her arms as she sat on the floor of the closet.

"I'm just wondering." I mumbled as I picked out a rose gold, backless dress that ties in the back and has glittery sequin and smiled as I turned around to Kay and Gwen who both approved with big grins and nods.

    "Onto shoes!" Kay screamed as she threw pairs of shoes on the closet floor until she came across diamond studded open toed heels and grinned as she held them up.

    "Hell yes! Girlie you're covered, now about your hair..." I examined her hair as I bunches my lips up on one side and crossed my arms.
