The time was 7:30am when I woke up, Finn wasn't at the side of me like he would usually be. I sighed, rubbing my eyes before getting out of bed. I walked into the bathroom first, splashing water on my eyes. I looked in the mirror, to see all of the bruises around my neck.

Finn was right, Romeo did hurt me.

He pinned me up to the wall, by my throat and told me that if I tell Finn, then he would take Amelia and Wesley, so of course I couldn't tell him the truth. As much as it hurt me to see him walk out, I had to just let him go, for everybody's benefit. I had to keep our children safe and the only way I could do that was if I kept my mouth shut.

Today was Monday, which meant Amelia has school. I put on some black leggings with a light pink sweatshirt, I put my hair in Dutch braids, then put on a little makeup before going to wake her up.

"Lia, come on it's time from wake up for school." I said, softly as I lightly shook her.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes, before getting out of bed and stretching. I opened her closet as she stood, half asleep whilst staring into space.

I got her some black jeans and her white top along with a denim jacket and her converse. I put them on her, she didn't speak much in the mornings anymore. She loved her sleep, just like Finn.

I put her hair half up, half down before she went to brush her teeth.

"Come downstairs when you have finished, okay?" I said, she nodded.

I walked into Wesley's room to see him already awake. He was stood up in his crib, he was trying to get over the baby blue bars.

"Mommy!" He said, holding his arms out for me to pick him up.

I picked him up, before walking downstairs and putting him in his high hair in the kitchen whilst I made breakfast. I left Wes in his pyjamas which was a white and blue onesie which had little socks attached. His curls were all messy and frizzy, just like Finn's were in the morning.

"Where dada?" He asked, looking around as worry filled his eyes.

"He just went out, he will be back soon." I said with a smile as I fried the eggs.

"Dada come back?" He asked, I nodded.

"Of course he'll come back." I smiled.

Amelia came down and sat at the table. I smiled at her, before playing up their breakfast and giving it to them. Then Romeo walked downstairs, worry instantly filled my body.

"I'm going, but you have not seen the last of me. Now you're gonna tell your petty little boyfriend that I left because I didn't want to get in the way of your guys' relationship. Make me seem good." He said, harshly.

"Mean boy." Wesley said, Romeo looked at him.

"Shut your mouth, you little brat." Romeo snarled.

"He's not a little brat, you are!" Amelia said, "you're a psycho!"

"You wouldn't know the definition of the word psycho if it slapped you across the face, sweetheart." Romeo scoffed as he walked out and slammed the door.

"You guys can't tell daddy about any of this, okay?" I said.

"I won't, I promise." Amelia said.

"Wes, do you promise?" I asked.

"Me tell dada." Wesley nodded, trying to get out of his seat but he couldn't because of the straps.

"No, no, no. You're not supposed to tell dada, you're a bad boy if you tell him." I said, knowing he doesn't want to be bad.
