GENERAL POV
Finn sat at the slightly big white desk down in his music room, clearing his head from all of the negativity surrounding his very head. The curly haired boy had never, ever felt so low. His pencil slightly scratched the paper, leaving marks of emotion.
Millie was upstairs in the kitchen, trying to keep their six year old under control as she stressed out about her homework. Their two year old was glued to his mothers leg, crying so that Finn would come up the stairs and acknowledge him.
But recently when Finn was upset, Millie thought it was best that everybody left him. So she wasn't going to call for Finn's help during Wesley's tantrums. He didn't deserve it. He deserved peace, and Millie knew that.
As for the rest of the friendship group, that had also been a slightly bumpy road. Sadie and Caleb were most problematic, which had never really occurred before except that one time in high school. Noah had claimed that he found Sarah very attractive.
Lottie-Faith didn't want to go to day care anymore, because all of the other kids were mean to her. Maddie was pretty stressed about that too. Jack Kelley wanted to come back into their life, but the pretty blonde wasn't having any of it. She didn't need that piece of shit.
"Wesley, please stop crying. Daddy will be upstairs soon." Millie sighed, filling his bottle up with juice.
"Me want Dada now!" He cried.
"Tough, you can't have him, okay? Not yet. You have to stop these tantrums, Wesley. Just because you cry, doesn't mean you're going to get your own way." She informed him.
The curly haired toddler stormed off with his bottle in his hand as his hair slightly bounced on top of his head. Amelia let out a sigh of relief once his cries were no longer heard. She hated his cries, they annoyed her.
She hated to be in the same room with him when he cried. So when Millie walked out of the kitchen, Amelia snuck down the stairs to the basement where Finn was. His head was on the desk.
"Daddy, are you okay?" Amelia asked, sitting next to him.
"I'm fine." Finn said, lifting his head and wiping the tears that seeped through his eyelids.
"No, you're not. People don't cry if they're okay. Plus, daddy, I don't think mommy is okay either." Amelia said to him.
"Why isn't mommy okay?" Finn asked, now looking at her.
"Because she usually smiles a lot and now she doesn't. I think she needs you." The wise six year old said, and a huge realisation smacked Finn in the face.
He needed to speak, they needed to speak. They needed to talk to each other, tell each other the truth or none of it was ever going to get better. If they were both secretive, they would never know each other's true feelings to make things better for them.
But their feelings were so different. All Finn could contemplate was if he wanted to be alive anymore, if his life was really worth living. Was it just a waste of time? Did he really have any purpose? Because to him, life did really feel like a huge waste of time.
But Millie—she was thinking about their relationship. She was blaming herself for everything bad happening. The short haired girl had convinced herself that Finn was no longer in love with her.
