I had a little rant about the Porsche Macan yesterday, but it's getting worse...
Range Rover have built a track focused fuckfast SUV, for some reason. It accelerates faster than the Macan, and apparently is the fastest SUV round the Nurburgring.
I didn't know anyone drove SUVs on race tracks.
Now the Macan doesn't look so bad... at least it's a road car. This new Rangie is a road-legal track car.
What the fuck?
How did range rover go from making off road vehicles, to soft roaders, and then to soft roader based road racers?
What the fuck is going on????
A track focused off roader is a massive, blindingly obvious conflict of interests. Yes, I'm saying its unethical. Immoral and wrong.
It's an oxymoron.
Can't cars just stick themselves in one category, and be good at the one thing they're designed to do?
Absurd combinations like this are always gonna be below par for all the categories they stretch themselves over.
It's a combination of the worst of two categories.
The only two things these illogical bastardisations are good at are;
1. Pissing me off.
2. Being popular with scumbags who piss me off.
