Sophia turn in the drive way slowly. She was finally home. She could see Leo at the window getting excited. The energy this 5 year old produced is enough to light up the army.
As she shut off the engine he burst through the door.
'Mummy look', he said pushing a bandaged thumb into her face.
'ohhh wah happened? you got a boo boo'.
'Nooo, I cut it and Carlisa kissed it and put spongebob on it'. He muttered.
'She did? wow, and you didn't cry? big boy Leo. gimme a high 5'.
Instead he ran in her arms. 'I missed you'.
'ahhhhh'. Sophia felt her heart melting. 'Don't worry munchkin, mummy ain't going no where'.
Sophia didn't made it big as a Medical Doctor like she hoped. She had to drop out when she found out she was pregnant.
'13 wks and a day, she heard the radiographer said.
'wah'?? She blurted out. 'Impossible'.
'Well, you are, take a look'. The doctor turn the monitor towards her and her heart melt like wax. The screen showed a baby, hers and Jason, 2 hands, 2 feet, head and floating around. The doctor touched a few buttons and the room echoed a thumbing sound. Her eyes watered. It sounded like horses galloping.
'That's the heartbeat, strong and healthy'. He smiled at her.
13 wks, a baby. Sophia was in disbelieve. She rode the bus home and was quiet throughout the day.
